To answer your question Krypton, I have no idea.
I didn't say it was a good theory.

My thoughts on the trailer after my 1000th watch
1) seems like the U.S. government seeks to control Superman. They blame him for Zod's attack and could ask him to stop hero'ing based on Lois and Martha's dialogue
2) 20 years in Gotham....this puts Bruce at 40
3) there's a scene of the \S/ soldiers gunning people down
4) looks to be at least two Batman/ Superman fights..WW may be a part of one
5) the red capes are coming...it's a reference to Paul Revere's ride to warn that British soldiers are marching...I surmise this is a reference to the \S/ soldiers. We could see a plot taken from Birthright where these soldiers work for Lex but pretend to work for Superman to make him look bad.

This is the vibe I'm getting too. Early on Superman tries talking with them as he's unsure of their purpose, and later in the movie when it's revealed, Batman takes them down while Superman/Wonder Woman are busy with the other villain.

I'm really hoping Snyder can deliver on this film.

I so wanted MoS to be up there as one of the best super-hero films ever and from the trailers it looked possible, however it fell short.

Eh... I find I like MOS more than quite a few CBMs, including some highly praised ones.

Same here, but I was hoping it would be "The Dark Knight" for Superman as a character.

Maybe expectations were too high but I really bought into those trailers man.

Also, if Gotham and metropolis are right next to one another then I'm going to assume Aquaman and WW already know each other.

Those amazons on horses? Hnnng.

Lex using some kind of mind control?

I am going with a clone that gets out of Luthor's control. That scene of Luthor and Superman together is the duplicate coming back from killing Hunter. This is what that "the red capes are coming" line. Lex knows that he is going to foment fear for his agenda by having a U.S. Senator killed in such a public manner.

That said, I am also open to the idea that he has a way to get Superman to do something for him, but not mind control.

I think the duplicate/Bizarro thing is what has a better chance. The duplicate is what attacks congress, thus causing the funereal procession we know is going to happen (for Hunter's character, at least) and it's this duplicate/Bizarro that opens fire on Batman with full intensity heat vision blasts.

I love the idea that Bruce is worn down and he may have this feeling of being just a man alone in the fight against crime. He's forced to fight Superman thinking he's just another person who'll eventually go bad.
He's so cynical and alone until he realizes he can trust Superman.

I know that's basic stuff but I like to see that it will be explored in the film. His lines with Alfred and his past with The Joker and death of Robin, the forming a partnership between him, Clark and Dianna will, as cheesy as it sounds, be this huge moment for not only Bruce but the world.
I love a Batman that's not just a loner and I can't wait to see the process of him going from where he's at in the beginning of the film to working with the League.

You destroyed my tower and killed my bros, but we cool.

They are talking about what strip clubs they are gonna hit downtown after cruising in the SuperBat Car. AquaMomoa is coming too. He's bringing shrimp. :hmr:

Are we on our 5th ALL THINGS thread since this morning? Dear Zod!
