Love it or not...Tyrese is doing exactly what every actor and actress does that wants to get in a movie. You are just seeing it and it's an actor you don't want in the role. I bet if it was Jake Ghellenhaul(spelling?) or Mathew Mconnally or Chris Pine doing the same thing"...no one would be complaining.

Fair enough. I actually have no problem with him in the role, he could be great. But you're right, it's just in my face. I've never seen another actor actively campaigning for a role on social media, or anywhere else for that matter, but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen.

I like to wait and see an actors performance in a given role before ruling them out, and I'll take that approach with him as well.

Isaiah Mustafa campaigned for Luke Cage...even having a short film shot....and he wasn't the only one.

You know, I thought Will Smith would be perfect for John Stewart, but that ship has sailed. Also would have like Chewitel Ejiofor, but he's playing the villain in Doctor Strange, same with Idris Elba and his Marvel contract. The only person I can think of who could potentially play him ATM is David Oyelowo, and even then IDK if he's really right for the role.

Just checked Bananadoc and filming_chicago. They've been filming in Chicago and Detroit under our noses the whole time. WB ninjas confirmed but really it could be a commercial or reshoots with extras
