Chill with the pics, Joke. There's a lot of discussion going on.

New thread so some pics to settle it in.

I was saying in the previous thread that I really hope they clarify the dream sequence in the full trailer. A lot of the reaction videos I watched last night and this morning had people thinking that Superman was the actual villain. They were either really confused or upset.

yeah I've leaned in that direction too. One tip that it might be prophecy is that there are 7 horse riders in that shot and Zack gave us the clue "Unite the Seven" this sounds like an instruction from the Oracle to Diana.

Hmm! Maybe so. I was leaning toward "unite the seven" being a reference to the Atlantean artifacts that Arthur must gather and prevent from falling into the wrong hands. But for it to be connected with an Oracle inspired vision for Diana would be pretty awesome, actually.

I think they will want to keep fans guessing right up to the release, as not knowing increases the fan discussion, buzz, hype, anticipation, etc.

Well, in all honesty, they should be confused and upset if they can't figure it out. Yes, Superman's going to be this big mean overlord. C'mon people...

You know, if it is a dream sequence it would be a great way to start the movie. The WB logo fades onto screen, then sand and dust wipe it away and transition to desert batman walking toward supermans fortress. He gets captured, then the teaser scene, but after that supes looks at batman and lights up his heat vision. Bruce wakes and then we get a scene of him reminiscing in the bat cave, remembering what happened that day zod and superman fought.

Why would Wonder Woman show Batman a future where Superman is a tyrant? Doesn't seem to make sense to me in the framework of this story. Also, isn't she the catalyst that sparks the formation of the Justice League?

I think it's clearly a rage and paranoid infused nightmare that Bruce is having and it will happen early in the movie to establish that this Bruce is a bit more paranoid than other on screen iterations. He's clearly upset at being unable to resist Superman. This would clearly be a worst case nightmare for him. Helpless like he was the night his parents were murdered.

"The feeling of powerlessness" personified in Bruce's dream..

Yes, all true about Batman's vulnerability of unresolved feelings of helplessness and (potentially uncontrollable) rage at his parents' murder. (Batman is all about controlled anger, but I think at some level he may fear losing control of all that pure destructive rage.) But where is Lex Luthor in all of this? He has to be pulling the strings somehow in order to make the world--and Batman--mistrust and fear Superman as a potential evil tyrant. Why would people be picketing outside the U.S. Senate building waving signs that warn against Superman when he clearly saved the world and there is a monument to him? For example. And Lex's taunt "black versus blue... day versus night... god versus man" is a pretty clear signal that he has somehow masterfully pitted the two of them against one another.

Oh! Something else I just thought of!

Desert batman is seen in the last trailer possibly snapping someone's neck right?
The guys riding in on horses also have guns. If we are to believe these are Batmans men attacking supermans fortress, this could be like a view of not just a superman gone wrong but a corrupted batman as well. Maybe going in, bats will be picking off guards left and right.

Imagine if Bruce and Clark had a conversation later in the film about his dream of what the two would become if they kept fighting?

I got the early tickets to BVS, I just got an email to remind me to watch the trailer December 2

Scenes in Batman V Superman:

Black Zero from Bruce Wayne's Perspective
Knightmare Scene (all desert shots along with the super soliders)
Lex meets with the Senator and gets the US Government to question Superman
Superman saving people from floods, fires and bad space launches
Lex's motives are shown with the krock and Zod's body
Batman back in action, training and preparing to take on Superman (bruce in training, branded bad guy, etc)
Batman breaks into Lex Corp to steal Krock
Bruce and Dianna scenes at charity event
Senate Hearing in DC and the aftermath of whatever happens there
Superman goes to Lex who tells him how Batman is behind this all (the kneeling Supes lex scene)
Batman calls out Superman (or Clark) somehow at the Gotham Metropolis Football Game, figures out a way to tell Superman to meet him under the batsignal
Batman fires up the signal, there is Superman
Let them fight
How this is resolved and they shake hands is unknown
But they come together just in time to take on the...
Third act villain

How cool would it be if Scarecrow had a small cameo early in the movie, and Batman gets fear gassed, causing the Knightmare

Must know who. :csad:

Any batman Easter eggs would be welcome but my gut tells me deep down that Letos joker is getting a tiny cameo in some way. I just feel it.
