I think you're right, steve. I see the backwards S etched into the tear of Doomsday's skin. This makes it likely that Doomy's going to have many forms in the movie..possibly. In the comics, he was a a lab rat that was tested upon multiple times, killed over until he reached his final form. Who knows, but I can see the backwards S you're talking about.

I noticed that symbol, too. but wasn't quite sure if it was a symbol or just a scar.

I'm not worried about Supes at all as far as his death is concerned. Could there be a future film that brings Doomsday back to finish Superman off? Possibly, but here, I think Doomsday is going to be Wondy's meat to munch on. I truly do believe Diana is going to be the scene-stealer in taking care of Doomsday in a brutal way, setting people up for her solo film where everyone will take her serious as lead.

The visuals in this film are just surreal. I know people think it makes everything look fake, but it just looks like an actual panel brought to life for me. Film looks gorgeous.

Eh, new medium = new game plan. No need to abide by stuff like just because that's how it was in the comics. Do what's rights for the story, rather than retread old ground for the sake of fan service.

I'm seeing an a backwards S. I never see the things fans claim to see. No Venom in Spider-Man's eye. No Joker face in a puff of smoke. But dammit if I'm not seeing that backwards S. But I might just have to chalk that up to me having been on the Bizarro wagon.

A lot of people did speculate we'd get a Bizarro/Doomsday hybrid. So maybe we are.

I see your point...but in the comics, Superman pretty much fought Doomsday alone while Doomsday trashed through C-listers like Fire Storm and Booster Gold. Here, he has Wonder leading the charge along side Batsy. I, too would like to see Supes defeat Doomsday because it's faithful to the comics, but we all know Hollywood deviates from that and changes the mytho's to fit the story. I won't have a problem with it.

This is Wonder Woman's debut on screen. Defeating a monster like Doomsday in her first outing ever will be a huge boost to her solo.

I disagree when it comes to heroes and their respective villains.

sure, the heroes can team up to take on a villain like Doomsday. but ultimately, it should be Superman who takes him down.

just like if they teamed up to take Ares, then WW should be the one to defeat him.

and so on.

you can make changes, sure, but you should respect the source material, too.
