They all made excellent Superhero movies. Just because a new director works on the same character as they did, doesn't mean that they're work is crap.

Right, but I think people are just commenting on the fighting style.

But saying it's inspired by the Arkham games isn't a slight on the movie. Those games are pretty revered.

Burton made great films and Nolan made a masterpiece but with that said the fighting choreography and the actual filming of the whole ordeal in this instance is something we haven't seen before aside from the Arkham universe or DCAU. That is a 100% objective comment towards the film.

It certainly doesn't tell us that the film will be good but that aspect does look incredible.



This. I can't speak for others that might be proclaiming their opinion inelegantly but for myself, I just see Snyder as draw I MORE from the source than the previous directors and it pleases me no end. How that translates into some kind of slap against the quality of the other series is beyond me.
