It's kinda silly. You gotta look at it like promos for TV shows. For The Flash, the last episode ended with
Barry being captured by Zoom.
The promo for the new episode clearly shows that
Barry is rescued by the team.

Could they save that reveal for the actual episode? Sure, but what's the point when we already know that's gonna happen? Especially when they could use the promo to tease so many other unanswered questions. Hell, they could've surprised us with the Killer Frost reveal, but they showed us that before the season even premiered. We knew it was coming though, so it's really not a big deal.

You can apply that logic directly to BvS, since it's essentially the second episode of the DCEU.

When I think about it, I'm actually happy they showed him. Because we will know about him any way before seeing the movie, and we will see it coming a mile away in the movie itself.

The only way I would get a nice surprise by his reveal is the way it was done.

Also, if I had to choose a scene that would convince the GA to go see BvS, I wouldn't think of any other (although I liked other scenes much more)

Can't say I follow your logic here. The GA doesn't know who Doomsday is.

And even if they did, that creature barely resembled him.

How did it not resemble Doomsday exactly? People knew who it was from the image alone

They don't have to. It's just the way that this monster and WW got into the mix. I think it makes the film much more interesting for a lot of people.

Was it ever actually confirmed to be Doomsday? Everyone just ran with it immediately, which points to it being a recognizable design.

Yeah it has been, Snyder's called it Doomsday in a recent interview

Yeah, Zack called it?.. him? :D Doomsday in a recent interview.

Kevin Smith called it Doomsday in the DC Films special.

Here is the thing I'm not panicking but I am not one who likes to ignore reality to live in fangirl world. I'm not just going to ignore all signs to force myself to like a film or predict that everyone will love a film. Batman v Superman was always a risky project, if we start getting reviews and they are bad I'm not going to put my fingers in my ears and claim that everyone are "haters" out to get WB.

I will never say that I know that a film is going to be good. Nobody knows. So no nobody should panic and we should all wait and see but none of us should ignore reality when it hits us in the face, for better or worse.

Furthermore WB really made a bone headed move not releasing that great trailer as the 3rd trailer.

Do you guys prefer the movie to end normally, or with a tease for the next one?

Although it's hard to say no to extra footage, especially when it's a tease, I have to say that I don't prefer obvious teases or post credits, it makes me feel that the movie didn't finish.

Look guys, we have basically known the skeleton of the story for a LONG time now. The trailers simply confirmed suspicions that we already had

A teaser would be great but I wouldn't be worried if they didn't. A tease is pretty much like a trailer for the next movie. I don't think the movie is incomplete.

A satisfactory and non controversial ending with a mid credit tease of Darkseid for the Justice League film.

That is what i'm expecting.

Official upload from IMAX: http://youtu.be/DlJFgHWZAfQ

The fact that they're now just promoting it as IMAX not IMAX 3D.....maybe there won't be 3D IMAX shows?

Of course there will be IMAX 3D showings, i mean they didn't remove it during post production. :funny:

Plus i did see the 2nd BvS trailer in IMAX 3D during my Star Wars 7 showing.
