I don't know folks get worked up about these silly clickbait articles from weak ass internet reporters.

WB is ALL In.

They are four movies in already. If they had reservations they would not plowing forward on these films.

This.

I haven't said a word about McWeeny... But that's it. I've hit my limit.

Screw that guy... He wrote that piece and released it hours after the most hyped trailer was released on purpose and his intent was nothing but ill-willed at best. It was an assassination attempt on the films pre-release hype with hopes to derail the entire opening weekend numbers... Or worse. He should have known better. He knows damn well that his article would be shotgun blasted all over Yahoo.com's and other news outlets front page news and every Rinky-dink journalist would create their own spinoffs based on his original piece.

I'm not going to lie- I viewed it as an aggressive attempt to create a negative firestorm one month before the opening weekend with the only hope that it would kill any buzz the last trailer created. Any true fan of super hero comic movies would NEVER do that. He's a *****e bag, a hack, and imo a complete joke. His last name is fitting beyond comprehension. Am I hacked off about it??? You damn right I am. It was complete bush league journalism and he deserves EVERY bit of backlash he gets. I'm sure he thought that his article would create so many spinoff negative articles and rumors that BVS would tank like fant4astic did.

F that guy. F him Mr Garrison style.

WB isn't playing around. JL will be the 5th movie in the DCU and it begins filming in the beginning of this April.

Man of Steel
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Suicide Squad
Wonder Woman
Justice League

To say there's no direction or that we're "not out of the woods" is so ignorant and baffling... The universe already exists. We're so out of the woods, it's hilarious. The woods are burnt down.

McWeeny himself is in the woods. :o

I agree fully, particularly about it being an attempt to create a negative firestorm to kill buzz surrounding BvS.

To preserve what I said on the previous thread, to aptly respond to your post, and to invite criticism of/response to what I said on the previous thread, I'll repeat:

I believe McWeeny's editorial, like other overly pessimistic, failure-predicting editorials regarding BvS and the DC shared cinematic universe, is a deliberate attempt to instill a lack of confidence in and an overabundance of fear and doubt concerning the upcoming DC films into people with the goal of resulting in some kind of failure for WB's endeavors. This is why these kinds of doom and gloom/overly pessimistic editorials and rumors are always paired with some comparison to a flawless, faultless MCU or with a prediction of the complete and utter failure of the DC shared cinematic universe.

Exactly... He deliberately tried persuade the casual publics opinion, just like F4's pre-release negative hype, at exactly about the same time prior to reease. He gets everything he deserves. It was more than a click bait story. It was premeditated slander.

Still can't believe we are getting DC universe on the big screen:hmr:
A lot of DC characters first debut on the big screen
And were getting the Justice League by the 5th film!!!
DCAU, DCEU

now if only WB can get videogame universe going:cwink:

I let that woman in my jeep! :lmao:

So this Time Out book has an advertisement for LexCorp's website:

"To herald the launch of its secure operating system Lex/OS, LexCorp has installed Wi-Fi nodes all over the city to blanket Metropolis with free, high-speed wireless service. Visit the website to obtain login credentials and view a map of the network."

I imagine we might be getting something relatively soon, then.

If they do, I would like them not to connect it to the Arkham games. I love that series and they dropped a lot of easter eggs that suggest at Batman is not the only superhero in that continuity, but Arkham Knight ending made it hard for Batman show up in a Justice League game.(Also that Batman doesn't like working with anyone, even those he trains)

DC Universe Online
Isn't that an MMO? I don't do MMO, so that wouldn't work for me:yay:.

Talking about drew again.......yeah keep it up guy's :loco:

Well I hope WB takes stuff like this seriously. People like you may just ignore it, but this kind of negative press, unchecked, does and will have a negative effect on the critical and financial success of BvS and their other upcoming films. Part of why Man of Steel didnt make more money than it did was because it had relatively weak legs, and that is very much due to some negative word of mouth regarding the film. Information being spread about a film does matter, and negative press, "bad buzz", etc, isn't good for a film. The saying "any press is good press" (I'm paraphrasing) is not true. It's not crazy to talk about this.

Just like the Nolan trilogy (which the Arkham games were partly inspired by).

Metropolis is situated slightly north-west of Gotham. Both are in the Chesapeake Bay. Metropolis looks like it's in Maryland, with Gotham in Virginia. The topography is slightly different:

Gotham and Metropolis | Batman v Superman

I'm linking because it's a huge image.

Yeah. Each main member of JL get a video game, then JL game, a SS game, maybe a TT game. It could happen, but for now the remains a dream.

Have underwater gaming mechanics improved in the last decade? I remember them being terrible. It makes me wonder how an Aquaman game could work.

Not sure. I know I'm putting this in simplest terms, but if they can get Superman flying correctly, they could giving those controls for Aquaman for swimming. I know that's not a good solution for a complicated problem, but it's a start.
