I can't believe a mod actually made a post like that. Such a huge overreaction and jumping to conclusions. And as many have said the R rated directors cut is OPTIONAL to purchase. You don't have to buy it. You can purchase the PG-13 theatrical cut and let it be.

But of course some fans cannot let it be. The rage overcomes them, and the complete overreacting my goodness. It's insanity really when you step back and look at it or think about it. Wow.

I'm just curious as to what his response will. I mean, he invited arguments at the end declared he'd be victorious. I'm eagerly awaiting the follow up to that post.

Just sit back and :lmao: at it. The rating, like everything else about this movie, gets blown and spun so way out of proportion it's hard to take even mildly serious anymore.

Rating-gate is up there with Perma-gate and blurple-gate.

Has there been anything about this movie that hasn't been controversial?

I don't expect him to come back.

I hope Batman v Superman will have some emotional punches and great and memorable performances from the key characters. Civil War seems like it will have plenty of dramatic moments with the main characters and clever writing. After reading an article about Anthony Mackie predicting a best picture nomination for Civil War, I think that could be a possibility. Mackie seems to come off as an arrogant Marvel fanboy, but his prediction might be right. Civil War may be Marvel's best yet after 12 installments. Although, a possible nomination for that movie would definitely perpetuate this Marvel v DC war. I want both to be a success ofcourse. Marvel has a good track record of hiring great talent and I hope DC is stepping up their game.

I didnt even notice that it was a mod that made that post. Pretty shocking that a global mod would make a post like that. Mods on this site, in my experience, seem pretty level headed, but that post was a complete over reation.

"You saved the world from total and utter annihilation after being Superman for only two days. You managed to wipe out the one chance to bring back your own people so that the human race can survive. But you didn't smile enough in your movie and a lot of fictional buildings were destroyed and the next movie dares to address this while bringing in Batman and Wonder Woman who should get fanboys excited but has been perceived to be overcrowding because of Hack Snyder and it's going to be so realistic that it would be rated-R for home video that, god forbid, you choose to watch. What the hell do you have to say for yourself, you dick?"

Whats that referencing?

In 2011 (least I think it was 2011) at a licensing expo WB hung up a poster with the Dark Knight symbol on it. (Look at Radiosha's above post to see the poster.)

I **** you not the Dark Knight forums argued over whether the background was blue or purple and some tried to find meaning in the color.

Lol would never happen, the closest was a DC film named TDK which was notably snubbed to point where the Academy changed the rules the next year. Plus the fact that the Academy doesn't really like CBM or CGI blockbusters as best picture nominees

A mod who hadn't interacted with the Hype since last August.

Personally speaking, the time I facepalmed the hardest while reading the posts here was a long discussion about whether Clark should have stolen a guy's clothes and boots without paying for them. Still cannot believe that was discussed for an entire thread.

Oh, Jesus....

I forgot about blurple-gate. I don't even remember what color tint the film ended up having.

I am (morbidly) curious to know what they do to the director's cut to make it deserving of an R-rating.
