Hello forumites.
Box office statistics is a hobby of mine so i would like to talk about a very special and rare box office record.
The $100+ mil in multiple (3+) territories club.
A club thats very hard to reach even though $100 mil is a pretty standard goal for blockbuster movies to hit in the USA and China. But its not an easy target for the rest of the markets. Hence very rare to achieve.
President of the club as expected is the mighty Avatar with a staggering 10 markets hitting $100+ mil. Double than the 2nd movie in the list the Titanic. Pretty impressive feat isnt it ?

As you see its a very tough goal to reach despite the fact that many films each year manage to gross $100+ mil in both the USA and China (especially in the last 7 years since China has grown spectacularly).
Not only that but many films managed to cross the $200+ mil in both USA and China and even a few films that managed to clear the $300+ mil mark in both of those markets.
Japan is the only other market except USA & China that has ever managed to have a film gross more than $200 mil. And it has done so only twice.
Frozen (2013) with $249 mil & Your Name/Kimi no na wa (2016) with $235,3 mil.
So the $200+ mil (or more) in multiple markets is almost impossible. Stars will have to align and it will probably need to be an animated film that explodes in Japan. Seems unlikely for the foresesable future.
And since the $200+ mil / $300+ mil / $400+ mil / 500+ mil is impossible to get in 3+ markets lets take a look at the few films that managed to achieve that milestone in 2 markets (which are USA & China the vast majority of the time).
