Actually, the trailer looks more like the cartoon show in the 80's. I dunno , the first one didn't remind of the old show where as this one looks more like the show I remember. God I use to love that cartoon. Good times..

Nice, Although I wished that Alvin would wear his cap more . Alvin's cap is apart of his trademark .

I thought so, A friend of mine said that cartoon network aired a teaser for their upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks cartoon set to air in 2010 .

I looked everywhere online but didn't see any news about this so called tv series . I think he's lying .

Saw this movie last weekend. It was not bad. It was cute and fun however I did enjoy the first on better. I am still annoyed that they have not given Alvin his signature hat but I guess that's a small complaint. Barely any screen time for Dave and no Miss Miller .The chippettes were a bit too oversexed IMO (never thought that would be said about a chipmunk). Then again it was pretty much the same thing you would see in just about any music video today. Basically if you enjoyed the first one you will like this one I think.

Nope.....at the end Alvin tells Dave that he told the girsl they could stay with them so they all live with Dave at the end of the film.. If they make another one maybe that will happen but I doubt it.
