I think The Batman is okay. Kind of a guilty pleasure. My favorite episode is when the Joker decides to fight crime dressed as Batman. Everyone should check that one out.

The Batman is really not that bad at all...

It is a respectable, modern and good take on the Batman mythology for KIDS.

The designs are so extreme at times because Jeff Matsuda really wanted (and under request from WB) to remove the character from his B:TAS or Bruce Timm look.

There are some stellar episodes, especially throughout seasons 2 and 4 that could look Batman: The Animated Series in the face.

well to be more specific i like the way The Batman looks himself... just REALLY dislike the villains looks in this adaption... only other person who maintaned the same look was Penguin.. i'll still watch it just to get my Batman fix tho... but the art is... eh,,,

TNBA was a great show. Sure, a few designs were off, but it both retained the level of quality that BTAS set, and further adapted the Batman comics of it's generation. Introducing Tim Drake as Robin (a combination of Drake and Jason Todd, who they thankfully skipped), and moving Dick Grayson into the Nightwing persona helped make it closer to the comics, among other elements, while giving BTAS a firm history.

Also, I can't recommend 'Over The Edge' highly enough. It stands as one of the greatest pieces of Batman animation ever, perhaps even one of the greatest Batman stories ever.

Good question... I know he's crazy but think about how easily he must stub his toes. And the blisters too.
