I'm there with you. I am more impressed with each bit of new footage we're getting and I'm excited to see what else we'll get this coming week.
I agree about the web swinging. The webs don't need to attach to the buildings in every single web swinging moment in the game for me to have a good experience. For the most part, they do attach.
I think I'm the only one who still thinks this game looks amazing :/ everyone seems to be complaining about the web swinging, combat, voice, graphics etc. To me, it all still looks effing epic! And the 26th of June can't come sooner. Obviously, I'm a little bummed that you web swing from the sky a lot but i can look past that if it delivers a great gaming experience. (y)
I'd rather have webs sticking to the sky where gameplay isn't restricted than webs attaching to buildings restricting gameplay. That was the only problem I had with SM2, the buildings really screwed up swinging and momentum a lot of the time. SM3 tried to fix it but failed miserably by making you swing basically sideways all the time. WOS had the best swinging IMO and I think this game will have even better swinging.
I agree completely. The webbing does attach, just not all the time. it's a balance and i think Beenox will meet that balance quite well
But like i've said before we can argue and argue about web swinging mechanics and other aspects of webswinging but we're never gonna get a webswinging mechanic that matches whats in our heads when we watch spidey.
Im massively excited for this game (preordered it as soon as it became available in ireland... not released here till the 29th :/) I know i probably will do one or two of the main game missions first then spent a crap load of time webswinging around and stopping petty crimes for the first while cos thats just what happens when i play a free roamin spidey game. I think it will be a fantastic game and a step in a great direction for the future of Free roamin spidey games
