We get it. You don't like the Arkham games and don't like it when they're praised. Aziz shares that sentiment with you, but you're on a forum where it's an almost unanimous opinion that the Arkham games are the comic book games...and what other developers should aspire to.

Nobody wants a Spider-Man game to play like a Batman game. L0L, could you imagine Spider-Man gliding? o.o

When they say that they want an Arkham Asylum/City for Spider-Man, they mean that they want a game that DOES THE CHARACTER JUSTICE in one game. I'm pretty sure even you admitted in a thread that different Spidey games have gotten different things right, so why are you so venomous towards us when we're essentially saying that Spidey deserves a game that does him justice?

Aziz,

The combat sucked compared to the Arkham games. I get that you don't like people praising them, or praising aspects of them over aspects of the Spidey games, but that's just the way it is.

I felt more agile playing as Catwoman for a few missions in AC than I have in most Spider-Man games. -_-

That's not fair to say that it sucked. Everyone has their opinion and that's Ok...so I'm not going to bash on you for having one. I disagree though. I really liked the combat in AC...it's awesome. I'm not going to talk about specifics cause I know Aziz hasn't played it yet, but the free flow combat is just plain great.

That being said, I really enjoyed the combat in EoT...mostly the Amazing combat. I understand it's a modified system from what we got in SD but it's a step up in my opinion and it's also not your typical fighting style that we've seen in past Spidey games. It has God of War feel to it and I'm digging it. The hypersense ability is just epic. They took the dodging system from SM3 and upgraded it. You really feel like Spidey is super quick like he's supposed to be and untouchable.

I've been reading several of your posts but this one made me laugh out loud.

This is a forum. It's intended use is for people to come and discuss things that they enjoy, gripe about things they don't and somewhere in the mix people are gonna disagree. That's the way it is and that's that.

I haven't seen anyone make a personal attack on you...yes, they've made some jokes at your expense but that's to be expected because you're acting a bit harsh. It's ok to laugh at yourself and to laugh at jokes made towards you. No one here is making an attack on you.

I absolutely love Spider-man. I'm a big fan. But I'm also NOT a fanboy. I know when to call a spade a spade. The Batman video games (Arkham Asylum and Arkham City) are epic. I have no love for Bats. I could care less about him and I've no interest in him as a character, but those games are awesome and I really, really enjoy playing them. I can respect a well made game or movie or whatever that stars The Batman because quality is quality and you can't deny it. You say 'hype' but I say it conquers it. The game lives up to it's expectations and then some.

Again, I love Edge of Time. I think it's a great game. Does it beat out AC? I don't think so. But that's my opinion...an opinion that is shared by quite a few people. I still play EoT and really enjoy it's gameplay and different suits and stuff but I also play AC alot. I also play Uncharted 3 and all sorts of cool ***** like Patapon 3.

Anyways, I getting a little off topic here but...everyone is well aware about your love for Spider-man games over the Batman games and how you think it's all just a bunch of hype and blind sheep running around playing those games. We. Get. It. You have your opinion and I totally respect your opinion but I have an opinion and so does everyone else...there's no need to continually argue your points to those that don't share them cause it's not going to change their minds. Spider-Man unlimited was not really a great show, IMO. Rino Romano did a fantastic job and a few of the episodes were good, but other than that it was only okay.

alot of the spidey games have done spidey justice, it's just that some spidey games took a few steps forward in certain aspects and took a few steps back in others. just cause they didn't get everything right to make one game great doesn't mean they didn't get spidey right. sm1 for ps1 got spidey right, so did sm2 the movie game, and in terms of gameplay wos was near perfect.

i never said ppl want spidey games to be just like batman in terms of spidey gliding..i mean ppl always saying "zomg they need to look at the arkham games and take notes from them on how to do a spidey game"

And this is the internet, the majority of people don't have to spell words correctly all the time. And FYI I type fast alot of times thus some words may come out misspelled, that has no reflection on my age or my intelligence.
