I can unofficially confirm that Andrew Garfield will voice Peter/Spidey in the game.

Me: Beenox is working on The Amazing Spider-Man movie game. Any chance you'll be voicing Spidey in that or are you handing it over to Andrew Garfield for the movie games like you did with Tobey Maguire. Love all of your work and hope to hear you as Spidey again soon!

Josh Keaton: I'm not sure how far along they are in production, but I definitely haven't heard anything about it yet.

Good to know, like it's been done with Maguire, I would love to listen to the two different tones he'll speak with both in the movie and the game, unless of course it's the exact same tone

lol i'm actually fb friends with Josh, and yes i'm about to brag:

I got him to join the forums on Hero HQ for Edge of Time

Dude is nice enough to accept incoming friend requests on fb, he accepted mine, that's :awesome:

yea he's a really nice down to earth guy. almost makes me mad/sad he won't be voicing Spidey in the new game

Don't worry, he will probably still be voicing Spidey in most of the future non-movie games :yay: meanwhile, it's nice to see how Andrew handles the part

Hope so about Keaton, agreed on Grafield

This is a first day/possibly midnight premiere purchase for me, no doubt. The fact that it's free-roam seals the deal, I don't need to see anything more to sell me on the game haha.

What if it's a Web of Shadows type deal?

I'd wait at least for an official trailer and more details...

But, they must be pretty confident if they were taking pre-orders at NYCC...

If you talk glitches that is a possibility
If your thought was of terrible story so offensive it's not so easy to find it funny before two years due how they badly characterize almost everyone, not much of a chance, I hope

I'm just talking about overall.

Hell, even Spider-Man 3 was a bit of a disappointment...

Always be cautious with movie tie-ins.

I have only played a demo of Spider-Man 3: The Game. I don't know why I have yet to buy it, as I have the first two movie games and I enjoyed them.

A bit, yep. There are the decent criticizing points I actually agree with, controls do get stiff at times, some annoying glitches show, some silly mission (though I enjoy them, silly remains silly), story has some contradicting/:huh: moments
EDIT: I weigh games like this; 10% story, 10% graphics, 10% miscellaneous & 70% gameplay, since some of the silly story moments lead to fun gameplay (if you remove a machine gun from a chinook it falls? Oh well, at least building a web net between two buildings makes up for that thing) and they don't really offend characters, I don't mind them

I don't look at movie tie-ins as a taboo, there are sooooo many games based on neither movies nor comics that are a complete waste (I do include older gens like the Genesis, SNES, & NES) on all systems.

Most of the movie tie-ins are bad, I concur, but since there are good ones I avoid looking at it as a taboo so many people do

Oscorp's post made me laugh, so I won't start the usual thing I say for that
I love the SM3 VG :)

I'm not taking a hit at the SM3 game, don't get me wrong.

I just don't think ANY movie tie-in is worth a first day purchase, like most FIFA/sports games, etc.

But I've got strong hopes for this.

I didn't, you said it's a bit disappointing, I said what's disappointing in it. All's cool

I don't think any game is worth first day purchase, I'm sorry I bought SM3 at full price (really really sorry), even if to me it's kinda worth what I paid for it, considering how many times I played it and several neat tricks I found in it, plus more amusing glitches than the annoying ones, it was still a mistake to buy it when I did, only bought it cause I didn't find SM2 on PC (fortunately) and felt the need for a Spider-Man game on PC

But I've got strong hopes for this.
I hope your hopes are worth it and the game is very deserving

Playing SM2 for the first time back in 2004, that's a day I'll never forget. That game was amazing :)

I still enjoy SM2 a lot, wish it was ported to PC instead of the "meh" thing I got (I pirated the PC thing, don't feel that sorry about having it and playing it)
