Wow that concept art is ****ing epic! I love that the Spider Slayer(s) will be in this game! Hopefully, Smythe will be in the game.

Oh, and reading about the Web Rush gave me such a great feeling about this game. I imagine it will be like the free flow combat of the Arkham games, but with awesome and realistic web attacks.

It's a gameplay mechanic that, I believe, has to do with web swinging. I think it has to do with the way Spidey moves when he's webswinging (as seen in the trailer where he's twisting and turning his way around the city).

"The Amazing Spider-Man is in development at veteran game studio Beenox, and features an original narrative crafted by Hollywood writer Seamus Kevin Fahey ( episodes of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica) that continues young Peter Parker’s adventures following the events of the new film. Using the game's new Web Rush mechanic allows players to pull off a vast array of moves never before possible."

Sounds just like the adrenaline meter in Spider-Man 2. Nowhere near as groundbreaking as they're making it out to be... :\

I'll be willing to overlook that if the game itself is awesome.

Using the game’s new Web Rush mechanic allows players to pull off a vast array of moves never before possible. With a story that takes players through many areas all over--and under--Manhattan, fans will feel what it’s truly like to be a super hero, as they experience the cinematic adrenaline rush of web-swinging through the city and fighting crime using Spider-Man’s spectacular acrobatic moves and attacks.

This.

Would you guys prefer the "press _ to stick to the wall" option to be back?

I prefer that over just running into the wall until you stick to it, a minor nitpick. lol

Yes. 1,000x YES. It was so awkward and hard to run into the wall to start sticking to it.

I felt embarrassed doing that.

I felt like the civilians around Spidey were all laughing at him struggling to get up this wall and saying "excuse me but wtf r u doin?"

Or web-swinging after Green Goblin and swinging into a building and then sticking to it, causing you to lose him.

"how do i crawl wall" :hehe:

I hope we can use objects in the environment as improvised weapons in combat!

Reminds me of what RIM told us the other day about Peter ripping a metal pole out of a subway car and beating the **** out of a thug with it in the SDCC footage.

I still need to get SD. I'm just waiting for it to hit the 20 dollar mark. Hopefully in May it'll hit that price point.

I don't think the general audience is going to stand for another mediocre to bad Spidey movie. They didn't seem to be big fans of Spidey 3 once they actually saw it.
It already has. $30 at the most, depending on which platform you get it for and where you buy it from. Amazon has it at a great price.

Wait... When was this? I've never heard him say this???
