The characters and the duality of spidey/peter parker make spider-man so great. SM2 nailed what it feels like to be spider-man, the 1st 616 spidey game, nailed the character and feel of the comics. Let's hope beenox can combine those two elements.

Nailed what it feels like to be Spider-Man? No not even close. They got the web swinging right but there are way more elements to Spider-Man than just his webswinging which they did not get right at all.

hmmm tell me team jacobed, what it lacked and how it can improve. For me personally it did what it was suppose to. It was just NYC was very dull. Which I'm hoping this won't be the case for ASM

The combat sucked, he wasn't acrobatic at all, he was about as stiff as they come, Tobey sounded ridiculously bored, the wise cracks were awful. Thats what was bad about Spider-Man himself, the game on a whole just incredibly boring. The side missions were pathetically bad, the main story missions were pathetically bad. The only good thing about that game was indeed the free roam but I prefer it more in the Ultimate Spider-Man because at least that game felt alive.

To each his own. Spider-man 2 is still one of my favorite video games of all time, I've logged more hours into swinging around that city than I'd care to admit.

Still love SM2 the game a lot, I think that got the most right out of any Spidey game so far and I know Beenox has acknowledged that so they've got that going for them.

I'm guessing it will be around when that big feature on the game in Official X-Box Magazine hits in early March.

And to think just a couple weeks ago I was thinking "Man this sucks being a Spider-Man fan," because we hadn't gotten anything in so long. But I knew eventually everything would come together like this. And just think, in just two months, we'll be getting tv spots!

I'd like to see them reveal a supervillain that will be in the game since right now we're in the dark on any actual comic villains being the game.

No way, there's a lot to enjoy there

The only good thing about that game was indeed the free roam

but I prefer it more in the Ultimate Spider-Man because at least that game felt alive.

Why is it so necessary to have the city alive? Just step on people to see them annoyed or swing, that's a Spider-Man game not a gangsta game

This trailer needs to show some unedited combat and swinging (although we prob will get the same edited nonsense) to show some real gameplay feel. Also, I hope they show something other than robots, as mentioned by others.
