Agreed. As you said, it's a 'backlash' on the internet. The general audience simply put no time into these nitpicks that people on here do. In all honesty friends and people I talk to, or show the trailer to, say nothing at all about the suit. They will just comment on if they'd see it, and they all want to. Seriously, this suit is recognisable as Spider-Man and people carry on as if he isn't, as if he wearing fluro green instead. Comic book films change suits all the time, and when the series rebooted a change was to be expected. And the changes do differentiate but they're not drastic overhauls.

"Why is MJ's hair blonde"

Yeah. Those are at the far end of the extreme. I don't see how anybody could seriously compare the new Spidey suit to those. Not even the same ballpark.

Agreed. Most that I know were pissed and confused when they found out they where starting over. All were under the impression the 4 was still coming and were kinda disappointed when finding out it wasn't happening.


However, most said they'd give it a chance after seeing the 2nd trailer.

BTW, I haven't had heard any complaints from the GA about the costume, just the fact that Tobey is gone, the main thing everyone says when I tell them they rebooted.

In all fairness, the costume(s) is/are a big part of the game. What do you guys think the chances will be that they have additional suits available??

My guess is that they have them for purchase...much like the AC skins pack.

Well, it seems that Webb changed the costume for creative purposes, but Schumacher changed the batman costume just for toy purposes, and that's exactly what they look, like toy figures.

Of course they thought it would also sell more toys, but it's mostly because Webb wanted to be creative and he put way more effort in to the suit.

yeah you can't really compare the costumes, Schumacher totally sold out. I hated the fact that they changed costumes in the middle of the movie without any reason

Please. I was exaggerating. But I'm partially being truthful. The new suit will take away from the game a bit due to its stupidity. Sorry, just the way I feel. Can't help that, now can I? Unless you want me to lie to myself.

You know, you've behaved hurt and mad ever since the reboot was announced...and so far (as far as I've seen) you've said NOTHING positive about this film. There's one thing having an opinion about the suit, or saying that you're skeptical about this film, but I don't think you as a Spidey fan would REALLY hate EVERYTHING about this film after this second trailer.

I'm sorry but you just come off as a Raimi fan who does nothing but whine because you didn't get your precious Spider-Man 4.

If only as an alternate costume count then you can add the PS1 games
