You know, I wonder when they're going to start announcing preorder bonuses. We have less than 3 months left until launch.

We should start hearing about pre-order/in game bonues before the end of april. I guarentee by the middle of april for sure. we have a couple of conventions happening in like 2 weeks. C2E2 in chicago and Pax East in Boston. Beenox and activision are sure to attend those conventions, they show up like every year. We are bound to hear more info by then.

It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Although in that email response received from Beenox to Spida-man, it said they couldn't talk about that stuff yet, when asked about the preorder bonuses and costumes. I hope they announce something soon.

I doubt they'd wait that long. Because there is no way they would keep retailiers and customers out of the loop for that long. Especially if pre-order bonuses are involved. Because once they're announced retailers are allowed to pick and choose which exclusive pre-order content that they want for their stores. Thats very hard to do in the last few weeks before the game arrives in stores and every one is already scrambling to get their cases in stock in time for the release date. It's even harder to do when your a multinational/global retail company and you have several million stores that need to be stocked with all of the availible products in time for a game's release. Not to mention this sort of thing is hard on activisions shipping schedule if announcements are delayed because they have to update their departments' records for who gets what just before the game's release. There is no way in Hell that Beenox or Activision would throw themselves under the bus like that.

Well, if we're talking about having preorder bonuses and alternate costumes, I'd say no, they won't wait that long to announce them. Especially the preorder bonuses cause between E3 and the release of the game is basically only 3 weeks. That's not very smart marketing.

On the other topic, and for me this one is a personal want but I've seen other people request it, a release of either the hands-off demo for the general public to view or better yet, a release of some hands-on gameplay via a gaming website. That may be something we will have to wait for E3 to see.

Trust me when I say, so do I. Usually I have a pretty good discipline when it comes to being patient but the more news and footage that gets released for this game has me going into barely-can-stand-it fits of excitement. I've said it before but I really haven't been this excited for a Spidey video game since before the release of SM2.

You think you've got it bad? A buddy of mine, Dave (of Loosecollector customs) is making a couple of spider-man figures for me. One peter parker spidey figure and one ben reilly spidey. they should be on my doorstep by next week after a two month wait, so I'm already at the point where I'm chomping at the bit to recieve these figures. Couple that with the wait for the announcements for any bonus costumes in this game and I'm on a razors edge! Everywhere I turn I'm face to face with suspense and stress...

I think the fact that we'll most likely have 20+ costumes to swing around in makes this the greatest Spider-Man game ever. If there are bonus costumes (I have no reason to believe there won't be), I don't see why I'd ever even need another Spider-Man game.

20+? if they just give us the costumes from SMSD and EoT thats like 40+ costumes right there.
