If they make it that you unlock costumes and other extras for collecting comic books, then that's awesome. But if they only give you a trophy then I probably won't bother.

I love that the pictures we take will be saved! I hated that the cool pics I took in SM3 would automatically delete.

If we can save to PS3/Xbox, then I can see myself and others making their own desktop backgrounds.

Also on a side note I wouldn't mind being able to play my own music form my HDD in the game while web slinging. I know it's a standard feature for 360 that it can play on most if not all games, but for many PS3 games they don't bother (even though it's now possible due to an update to the system ages ago). I just think it would be great to swing about the game world listening to what you like.

For peeps with the PS3, there's always putting music on thru an external speaker system and listening to that while swinging.

What I don't want to see is ''Collect all the comic books scattered around the city''
But I'm sure it will be there. If they can make it fun, like in InFamous 2, then I wouldn't mind.

One more reason to get all the comics.

It was mentioned in that last preview article the comic books you collect will lead to gaining unlockables. They haven't released the info on what those unlockables will be, just yet, and I would most certainly be willing to bet that collecting all the comic books around the city would count as a trophy/achievement.

I think it was in SM2 that if you fell from a high enough distance, you died upon impact. I could also see this being some sort of an achievement or trophy. Fall from 50 stories = Spider Splat Trophy (bronze) :yay:
Good trophy choice

Why not Gold?! Killing yourself 50 times deserves a Gold trophy. lol
Gold & bronze, where should silver be lined?

I'm glad the option to take photos is back. I'm wondering if that means the Daily Bugle will feature or if it's explained away because Spidey needs proof that Oscorp and others are up to things? Also I wonder if we'll be able to save the pics to our PS3 or Xbox?
If that happens, I'll be happy and in pain
My siblings won't like how many game images I'll take

I'd do it for my laptop

How fun? What mission in inFAMOUS 2?

One reason I'm upset I won't have it on PC, no F12 to save image

And I gave the N64 equal to EEL NATS, but not as fun to type

Neversoft's Spider-Man is still the best Spidey game ever...... storywise and voice acting wise.

SM2 is the best overall and SM3 has the best NYC.

I think the story of SM2 is on par with the story of Neversoft game, maybe a little better cause it gets a little into Peter's life

In the article RIM posted, this came up:

The game will NOT feature The Avengers or Nick Fury, due to the licensing rights belonging to another studio. But there is a good chance we will see other heroes pop up throughout the game.

What other heroes could it include?

That's a shame. Not that it's my business but why don't you own one?

Just don't like them, I think the main issue for me are the controllers. I cannot use them with the dexterity and speed I have using a mouse and keyboard. So I get frustrated with myself because I know I'm a better gamer than the consoles controls let me be.

I have a fairly well specced PC and I see the limitations in what are now 2nd/3rd generation graphics architecture in the PS3 and XBox360.
Also, I find a lot of PC games have more depth to them than can be found in a lot of console games.

Not taking a bash at console gamers at all, but it is just not for me.

Fair enough. I'm the opposite...much better with a controller than a mouse.

Shattered Dimensions voice acting is miles ahead of the PS1 games. Spider-Man is basically the only good thing voice acting wise in those games. I'd place Shattered Dimensions or Ultimate Spider-Man at the top. (I actually liked Sean Marquette's Spider-Man.)

I love NPH's spidey voice-overs.
was always my favourite

Also Platinum Trophy: Make it through entire game without emo dancing

I agree about Shattered Dimensions having the best voice actors!

It wasn't a mission, per say.
We had dead drops and fragments to collect. The dead drops were conversations between some characters of the game, where they talked about the project that led to the disasters, the monsters, the government, terrorism and other themes present in the game.
The fragments augmented the protagonist's power storage. The more fragments we got, the more energy we could spend.

Also, we could get a power where we could sense the fragments. It was like a ''energy sense''. When we pressed its respective button, it activated and the fragment would appear on the little map on the corner of the screen. Even if it wasn't near, it would still appear on the map indicating the location you would have to go.

It was a nice way to get them all, instead of spending so much time looking for something that could be anywhere in the town but you can't know where.

If you don't subscribe to Game Informer, you should pick up their latest issue. It has an expected preview of web rush, and combat, and stealth takedowns and an AMAZING new image of spidey at night.
