Agreed. I like the way he looks (the model is superb) and moves (web-rush mechanics rocks). Truly outstanding for a Spider-Man game, but alas, the graphics, surroundings and the whole city are coming off pretty badly and messy (especially during the day). Sorry, but it's a sad truth.

I'm still not completely sold on the game itself, but for the 1st time ever I'm proud to see something, that allows the players to get the feeling of what is it like to be Spider-Man.

I agree. I'm glad we're getting a new fun experience in another Spidey game from Beenox, but I'm not a fan of Spidey fighting those thugs and it looking a bit off when he uses his webbing. The environment of the city doesn't look that bad though; it's not spectacular and just reminds me of Web of Shadows, but after two games of not being able to swing around New York, it's hard to complain.

:up::up::up:

'Web Rush' looks cool so far, but I hope they change the way he's bouncing off walls like he does in the video.

The last trailer looked very good, I love the camera angles and the graphics tbh! The game mechanics look great as well and the battle against that flying robot looks epic as hell!

However, as many of you guys, I'm a bit concerned about that twirling animation used every second. That's enough to be a pretty big minus for me if there's not a better variation of moves on that department.

Uhm...that is a huge amount of time!
Yeah, but I do a lot of stuff when I'm on the computer, so I don't really have time to read every post in every thread word for word. That's why I tend to tend to skim through posts. A lot of people here seem to be on here almost all day, so I'm sure the amount of time I spend on the computer is nothing compared to that.

If they do add the 'Ends of the Earth' costume, then I hope it's this version.

Not this one.

Ha. Looks like CBM is once again not allowed to be linked to (I thought they started allowing it again, but whatever). Just add ************** where the ******** are.

The mask in that one is just horrible.

u do realize its the same suit he just took his helmet off for a little while right?

We should bombard Dee's twitter so that they can answer whether or not spidey has more animations than that TWIRL everytime web rush is used. I hope he does.......

I also hope that avatar pic of spida-man is actually in the game. That looks hot......

@Spider-who. I know that....I meant I hope that maneuver is do able in game. I think there should be a web shot then a tug. Not just fire and go.

Anybody think that they need to add in a targeting system like the batman games for using webs? I do. He should be able to fire from both or one arm. I think webbing looks a little shotty in general. It's not as free and cool as it should be imo. Maybe this game will change it up but spidey should be able to do more than fire a web line and bullets. I want to control what place I fire it and what I want to do.

So anyone care to guess who was the villain they showed after Rhino? He kinda lit up in a way, maybe Electro?

Well, it was my favorite trailer so far, but it was still too short and not really worth such a long wait between trailers. It looks like this game features my favorite version of Times Square in a Spidey game so far, but I'm disappointed in the Empire State Building appearing to not have its spire, which makes it look weird. I've noticed it in screenshots so far, but seeing it at this stage makes me think that's the final version of the building. The Web Rush itself looks like it will be very fun.

The Times Square sequence doesn't appear to be completely on auto pilot. It actually looks like Web Rush works by selecting a destination, and then showing that destination with a pulsing light while Spidey moves towards that location. It seems like the game keeps that destination centered on screen while Spidey moves towards it, but it looks like other silhouettes will show up and let you choose your next location. It seems that the destination gets changed 3 times during the Times Square sequence, which looks really fun to me. You can see the pulsing light location change three times. The first time it changes Spidey doesn't end up going to the original light marker location, but another time it seems that the location changes shortly before Spidey gets to the pulsing light, and he lands on that spot and jumps off towards the new light. If that's true, it looks like a really fun way to jump around the city.

One of the achievements is to get a combo string of 42, so I am guessing spider-man is much faster and hits multiple times for a strike later in the combo

So, there are different difficulties and 700 comic book pages, it seems. Or maybe the latter is a typo.

700 Pages, yet only 10 comics (11 if you get the Stan Lee Pre-Order Bonus)? I'm thinking either 700 is way off, or there are more than 10 comics.

every page you collect doesn't correspond to a comic book page. its more like, collect 250 pages, unlock the entire book type of deal.
