Is it better than 6 underground? I couldnt get through that movie. It was just TOO much Bay sensory overload for me.

I get why some people didn't like it, but I did enjoy the crazy, action set pieces in 6 Underground more than any of the Bayhem we got in this. That being said if you didn't like the over the top, try hard, raunchy dialogue in that movie I believe you will like this more although its equally as ridiculous as 6 Underground was.

It really comes down to how much you are able to suspend your disbelief when it comes to anything regarding logic or any semblance of realism in this movie and if you are able to you might enjoy it more.

So. Many. Quick. Cuts.

I haven't had a headache this bad from watching a movie since Taken 3.

Make of that what you will...

Such a strangely put together film. So many cliches and odd dialogue but it worked for me. I'd give it 8 out of 10. Eliza was MVP in this with Jake going over the top in the most captivating way.

Decided to check this out today. It's your prototypical Bay film. I enjoyed it for the most part, granted the last 10 minutes or so sucked hard. Unearned ending that was kind of let down from a pretty engaging film for the most part.

As cool as some of those camera shots were... jesus were they unnecessary in some moments. I was getting a little motion sick at times.

Was considering seeing this last weekend, but didn't. Now I'm considering this weekend and am still undecided haha.

The good thing about big action movies tanking at the box office is it gets to streaming faster.

Wow the movie is already online and in HD. That must mean a digital release is already near.

Finally caught this on VOD and i cannot believe I'm saying this but I enjoyed the absolute s*** out of this guys. This is, IMO, Bay's best movie since The Rock. This was just pure kinetic high energy intense filmmaking and unlike 6 Underground where I literally couldn't finish it because of the chaotic cinematography, Bay seemed much more subdued here (well, subdued by Bay standards) but here it felt like more controlled chaos as opposed to utter chaos in 6 Underground if that makes sense.

I had a blast with this, I love these types of action thrillers and wish they made of them these days.

Yeah this was a fun movie. Great acting by Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Loved Yahya in Watchmen and Aquaman. Looking forward to him in Aquaman 2.

Gyllenhaal looked like he ate this role up and was having a lot of fun. Him and Yahya had great chemistry together.

This movie was a lot of fun, and I really loved the cast. Some of the quick cuts started to get to me but I'd totally watch it again.

This movie was straight-up garbage. Just one nonsensical thing after another. For the first five minutes it felt like Bay was actually trying to make a serious movie but the guy just can’t help himself and it quickly turns into absurd bull**** all the while trying to keep up the facade of a serious movie. I would much rather watch Bayhem trash like 6 Underground, in which he at least knows what he’s making is stupid as hell instead of whatever he was attempting to do here. Eiza Gonzalez is good and Yahya does what he can but Jake and most of the other actors are insufferable.

Also, I don’t think Michael Bay has ever seen Braveheart? Jake keeps referring to a guy with short hair and a long beard as “Mel Gibson” because he says he looks like him in Braveheart. Mel had long hair and was clean shaven in that movie.
