Quite frankly, I like the new Infinity, Inc. and the line up they got going. I'm gonna go ahead and cut straight to the point: does anyone else think they should get their own comic series? Are they even around OYL?

the chances of them being around post 52 is slim. Lex has probblay killed off most of them, or they all retired.

You honestly like them?

My condolences.

I doubt that they'll be around after 52, although there's always the chance that if some of them have a metagene that it somehow gets activated. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in it. But in true hypocrite fashion would probably be interested in an Infinity Inc. if the younger JSA'ers decide to split on their own.:p

Ditto. I'd read that. Maybe I just like the idea of them bringing back Infinity, Inc. Maybe I'm just desperate for a new teen hero team, because I'm quite bored with the Titans. They just aren't cutting it for me. I don't what it is, but I would still like to see them get their own comic in the near future maybe. I'm sure that if they get some really good writer attached to the project, they could really turn these characters into somebodies.

I'll just be a happy camper when stop ****ing with the characters that made up the original Infinity, Inc.

Most of them have gone on to bigger and better things. Practically all of them managed to graduate to the JSA which is what they wanted in the first place.

- Silver Scarab/Dr. Fate, Fury, Jade, Wildcat, Dr. Midnight are dead.
- Northwind has been devolved into some dumb bird creature. Now in limbo.
- Brainwave was turned into a villain a few times. Now in limbo.
- Atom Smasher=in limbo.

Obsidian is the only one that has it made.

Look, I love these characters, but when you look at it now, they've been screwed over pretty big. Last year, top notch. This year, even with some beautiful endings (I particularly loved the Hector/Lyta send-off), they got shafted.

Boom goes Infinity Inc.

Sorry

Atom Smasher is showing up in 52 with the suicide squad. They're gonna attack Black Adam. He's a dead man. I just know it.

You forgot that Bones is now the DEO director.
Rick/Hourman "has it made".
Power Girl also "has it made".

And most people cheered when Jade bit it.:o

I certainly hope not.

Ah, forgot about Bones and I meant to include Hourman. I don't include Power Girl, since really, she was only there for the first 12 issues, and didn't do anything else with the team afterwards. It's the same reason I didn't count Huntress' death in CoIE.

I'll give you Hourman though. That still only leaves two out of an entire cast. I'm just like the people who ***** about the JLI characters getting offed, I just have that Infinity, Inc.

And "most people" is really just a few vocal ones here on the board, Trop, let's be real. I will say I didn't care much for Jade's portrayal in the last few years, but before she cheated on Kyle, she wasn't really that bad a character.

Last time we saw Brainwave he was heroic though. It would be great to see him in JSA.

Yeah, I loved his role in the whole rescue of Sand. The anti-hero Brainwave is certainly my favourite incarnation and Geoff wrote him pretty well.

let me preface this by saying that i haven't read the orginal infinity, inc. series, but what if they took the remaining members of the orginal lineup (hourman, power girl and obsidian) and added the current next-gen jsa'ers like jakeem thunder, liberty belle, star girl, starman, cyclone and possibly ted grant's new kid, into the mix? like infinity, inc. 2.0 or something?

I don't think a new Infinity Inc title would be handy for that. Ever since their revival, the JSA has been about training the young, and Inf Inc was ultimately a title about the youngsters rebelling against their parents.

i knew you'd say that. i just thought we were speculating on how a new infinity, inc. title might work. i don't actually think this is going to happen.

I'd rather see a group of young people in the JSA book called Infinity Inc that it's own title at the moment. Just to see how strong it is.

I could be like the JSA training team run by Atom Smasher or Hourman or Brainwave.

I say forget it. It's an idea that's past it's use. The JSA is enough on it's own what with the whole teaching heroes how to be heroes thing.

Yeah, we were, and I simply said that I wouldn't see that working since it takes away what the JSA has now essentially become: a training ground for new, young heroes.

I wouldn't mind what yenaled suggested though, as a little subgroup within the JSA that specifically trains some of the younger ones. What I would like the most though if it were referenced a bit more these days, and maybe get the surviving members together for a few missions.
