I know there's a thread for the X-Men in the MCU, but sadly I don't think they fit in it. With characters like Thor and Hulk, the MCU population has accepted individuals with powers which is contrary to a big part of the X-Men story.
Redundant? Other people said the same thing? All possible, but here's where my idea may deviate from others. I heard rumors of them remaking the 90's show, and while I think that show was great, I think they should start a little earlier.
Take the classic stories like they did in the 90's, but build the structure like Pryde of the X-Men (including Stan Lee sound bytes). Heck, even take a more streamlined uniform approach like X-Men Evolution and blend the three together. I think that would rock
