I'd buy one PS3 if it wasn't so frickin' expensive... Xbox 360 has zero appeal to me... gamewise... and Wii is the only system in my opinion that has both affordability and games that I'm interested... I'd rather have FUN games than pretty looking games...

You do know over 90% of ps3 games are on 360 too right? That's what I don't get people who say xbox doesn't appeal, yet it has more or less the same games and is much cheaper and the company who makes it doesn't insult your intelligence.

People who want the ps3 for one game or something is stupid...like mgs4 fans. If PS3 flops, unless the game is published by them, chances are it will go to 360 because the publishers will want to recoup the loss.

one of the reasons I'm not buying it. there aren't enough exclusives to get me to buy it. there are too few exclusive games to justify a 600 dollars price tag, and there is one less now that it's confirmed that Assassin's Creed is coming for the 360.

I wasn't talking about you mate, just so you know...

but thats my point too. sony just hasnt got enough good games to justify it (and I am someone who has picked up a ps1, ps2, and psp, so i like to think im not biased....i loved sony cambridge's games). when you have a huge price tag, justify it....but sony have failed miserably to do that.

as it is, I'm not buying it until I can get it for half the price, which, at this rate, won't be in a LLLLLLOOOONG time. hopefully, by then, they'll have some great games (24 The Game sequel, SotC sequel, God of War 3... who knows).

I agree with you 100% Mentok, and the only reason people won't count the Wii, if it does indeed come out on top is because most "hardcore gamers" are idiots, seriously. I've come to understand that intelligent gamers are few and far between and it's because of these idiots (People who want graphics over game play....in anything, extreme fan boys (not just Sony fanboys, etc) that gaming gets a bad rap these days.

I know that the PS3 will be good. I have however decided not to buy one because of the way sony are acting (silly prices, treating us like idiots).

I know im not the only one who woont be buying one for a very long time because of this.

I can see Sony taking a huge hit this generation.

Wii will probably come out on top... Even though most people wont count it because its not a 'real next gen' console.

I actually think it's a real next gen console. It's the only console that's doing something different.

Where the XBox and PS are just beefing up their systems to do pretty much the same thing, Nintendo is actually adding (though some feel it's subtracting) from the actual gaming experience, rather than just deciding to make the same platform a little bit beefier in the graphics department.

Metal Gear and Kingdom Hearts are already established series. Of course they are going to have more hype and excitement than Dead Rising.

And do you honestly expect it to remain an Xbox 360 exclusive forever.

Remember these:

IMO, there's something wrong with you if you want those games more than Dead Rising, which clearly will be the greatest game ever

I find the concept of Dead Rising more fun than Kingdom Hearts. But definetly not Metal Gear. But I am more excited for other games than Dead Rising.

Oh I know Dead Rising will probably get ported, eventually. But that time is a LONG, long, long way away....when I will be playing this game on my 360 within two months
