You haven't made the best case for your town being "enlightened" what with the 15-year old pregnant girls and the kids not getting ridiculed much for having low life drunk's for parents. In my mind this conjures up images of Cletus from the Simpsons. I'm not saying some kids won't be cruel, some always will be, however, if a child is taught acceptance over bigotry, racism and homophobia, I think it'll tip the scales in acceptance's favor.

Yes I hope parents do teach children that bigotry is wrong, and i hope it works. But seriously, when a childs old enough (teens) they are going to have their own opinions whether their parents say it's wrong or not. You can't deny this. the other claims that since gays are unwilling to reproduce they are shirking their duty.
i believe the second type group are the big "gays-shalt-not-adopt" group because they present the "fact" that kids raised by gays will be gay, and in few genarations 40% of the population will be gay and thus there will be less reproduction and maybe humanity willl get endagered.
that last part is utter falsehood. it would take millions of years for mankind becuase of such a process.
plus, there is no proof that children of a homosexual couple will be homosexual. (tho,as a hetorosexual male i tell that without seeing the proof it is almost imposible for a straight man not to beleive that. luckily i've been "enlighted" so-to-speak)

So how did they conduct this study? Did they go round asking all the kids with homosexual parents if they were bullied? Common sense tells me that not all of said children would come out and say "Yea I was really bullied and it ruined my life!" Of course they are not all going to say that, even if it did infact happen. Kids don't always let people know they are being bullied, common sense also tells me that.

Actually, there are four types of homophobia:

-Personal homophobia, which conforms to your personal beliefs;
-Interpersonal homophobia, which involves those who disagree with homosexuality interjecting their beliefs onto others;
-Cultural homophobia, which is how a society in general responds to homosexuality;
-Institutional homophobia, which is how certain institutions (schools, churches, government offices, etc.) act towards homosexuals

These often work coincidentally with one another.

And I don't "claim" anything. Everyone knows some bullied children won't tell anyone about their ordeal. If the kid doesn't tell their parents or teachers why would they tell a shrink?

My parents taught me not to judge people on their skin color or ethnicity and I held onto that belief even when I hit my teenage years and rebelled against some of their other teachings. Micheal Weiner (which is his real name) has a right to his opinion, the people that listen him have the right to. The people that disagree with him have the right to disagree, but those that disagree do not have the right to affect force him from his freedom to spread his beliefs.

I don't listen to Savage, he is too loud, the only way to truly get him off the air is to not listen. Other than that, don't complain. I think those that say "Kill Bush" or "Kill Joe the Plumber" and write about it are far worse, Savage isn't talking about Murdering anyone.

He's not a Racist. From all the times I've listened to him, he has never said anything about a Race of people. What he does say however is against all people that try to change this country. He is an Uber-Conservative. That's one reason I don't listen to him anymore.
