I've been following this ever since day 1 of the kickstarter. I just hope it gets released here in Canada. I'll be there opening day if it does.

Yay, it's coming to the theater right by my house. :D

Just looked it up, and it is playing at my theater. :awesome:

I thought KB was a vegan... guess she's still vegetarian. Otherwise she wouldn't touch marshmallows.

Kristen Bell is so gorgeous. I hope she'll get to sing in this movie.

They really are trying to bring it back into the fold. Maybe we'll actually get a series continuation if it does well.

I feel like the only thing really standing in the way of that happening is ****ing House of Lies. Otherwise who knows what would happen?

Netflix would be a great home for new Veronica Mars eps a la arrested development

There will be four of us at one of the Thursday advance screenings, can't wait to see it with a bunch of fans.

I just started rewatching the show on Sunday. Since I was home sick from work today, I got a few episodes in (but not as many as I should have), so I am 12 episodes deep into season one right now. Hoping to get through the rest either before or shortly after the movie comes out. Damn I was so in love with Kristen the first time I watched this series. I still am, and I just have to remind myself that she was in her 20s while playing a teenager so 30 year old me doesn't feel so bad.

I tried watching the series... I couldn't get into it. I do like some of the characters (especially Veronica)... it's just not clicking for me. But the movie looks good.

I really should've started rewatching the series earlier than I did. I am four episodes into season two now, and with work and everything else, I definitely won't be done before the movie comes out.

I may end up getting it on demand. I've never ordered a "same day as theaters" movie on demand. How much do those generally cost on Directv? Anyone know?

I bought my ticket for March 13. I'm glad I decided to get it yesterday, it was already flashing "selling fast" on the ticket machine, which means it was already over 90% sold out with 8 days to go.
It'll be front loaded as hell, and with a limited number of theaters and showtimes it's potential is still pretty limited, but it's boxoffice run should still be interesting to watch. The kickstarter not only financed it, but gave it a hell of a lot of free publicity thanks to both reaching its original goal in record time as well as raising a record amount from the program which will probably boost the numbers a bit.
