I think this is a film people could sit back and relax and enjoy much more. There's far less hype and the weight of expectation than on Black Panther (the first major black superhero movie) and Infinity War (the culmination of all the MCU movies so far).

It doesn't have so much resting on its shoulders.

Yes definitely. There should be much less pressure on it to deliver. Good to get something like that in the middle of all the super-high stakes stuff.

This looks like so much fun! Evie is kicking ass as The Wasp, the action looks so inventive and evolving from the first film, The Ghost's look is a perfect amalgamation of the two best designs the character has had, and I love the little exchange at the end between Scott and Hank.

Love the improved cinematography already at this stage. Wasp looks and moves fantastic.
Hope the romantic comedy angle shines thru, if anything, to give it a different flare to the Mcu filmography.

They could have subtitled this trailer "yeah, Wasp is awesome." Also Ghost looks really cool. I'm curious to see if she takes her helmet/costume off in the movie at all. Comic book Ghost is uber-paranoid and keeps his own pretty much all the time, but Marvel might not be able to resist the urge to show Hannah John-Kamen's face in the film.

Ant-Man 2 is set before IW. Scott dies in IW and then will appear in AM2 in essentially a flashback. In Avengers 4 Wasp (who does not appear in IW) will join the team to avenge him.


Totally not true!!! Just read somebody internet speculating and I found that to be a cool scenario.

Scott dies heroically in IW and then 2 months later they release his last appearance and Wasp's first adventure. Then she joins Avengers or an all female team up movie. They probably don't have the balls to do it though. I would love it. As the person says -- why do we need 2 shrinking heroes going forward?

Well... That trailer hit the spot. Not too much revealed of the plot, which is always good in a first trailer, and Wasp looks fantastic. That knife scene is all I could have wanted in seeing Wasp for the first time. Looks to be the equal of the first film already.

Goggins villain Burch is on the ferry clutching the Pym building Hank shrinks when Giant-Man emerges from the water.

Looks like Scott turns himself in after Cap breaks him out again? Curious. Glad to see the action's back in the San Francisco general area, instead of NYC. More Marvel heroes needed in different cities.

So the Ghost is female here? With tech-based infiltration powers? Is she the only villain? Ant-Man's rogues are largely unknown to me. I guess the writers technically have their pick from anyone in Marvel, though.

Well, I hope that the footage of Michael Douglas isn't cut, whatever happens with these recent-retro allegations. I'm wondering how this will affect the promotions of the film. He might not do any press.

No footage of Ms. Pfeiffer as Janet, though I'm glad they didn't spoil her appearance yet.

Nice to see imagery of Wasp using her powers. I hope she appears in future group movies.

She does. I'd love to see some scenes where AM&W strike together both shrinking and growing during a coordinated attack.

Did they not explain that although the object shrinks it retains it's mass? Like when Scott fell on the roof of the car while small and made a dent or when the toy train hit Yellowjacket and bounced off because he had human mass.

But if they can shrink a building and put it on a handcart it must only weigh a few pounds.


Although he did carry a tank around on a keychain in the first movie, so......

Oh well, looks likes fun like the first one!
