I've been studying sign language for about a year now, and I'm very interested in pursuing some form of deaf studies when I transfer to another college.

I just wanted to make this thread for any sign language users (or those interested in sign language), hearing, hearing-impaired, or deaf, to give tips on how to get better, how to learn more and retain information, how to fingerspell better and faster, etc.

I certainly need the help. :p

I'm a hearing person, just to set the record straight (although I am partially deaf in one of my ears).

My girlfriend found this site, which helped me a bit:

www.asl.ms

They have some fingerspelling machine there... It's pretty cool, I think.

I know a couple of hand signals does that count?....

If they're actually sign language, then sure. Then again, a lot of words without signs have signs made up and clarified during conversations anyway.

The lord J. Michael Morgster is deaf.

I know, as hardly a day goes by he doesn't make some lame joke about it. :p

I wrote a song about Morg, I hope he likes it.
