I think that the quiet and funny characters always pull off a psycho really well, cause you don't expect it. I am excited to see what kind of performence Raimi gets out of him. I always thought of Brock as the quiet and plotting psycho much more than a raving looney. That was Cassidy.

i think venom deserves his own movie in future, but with all the super-villans in this will surely make it more action packed and a more thrilling storyline than one and two

now b4 i go on i just would like to state i havent read ALL the posts in this thread. too many, but form what i have read seems ppl are bumming hard on tophers look and cause hes not uber buff.

well i got 3 words for you ULTIMATE SPIDERMAN. if i remember correctly and i know i do, eddie brock is a pretty scrawny college kid in that adaptation. i wouldnt doubt for a second thats where theyre basing this movie eddie brock out of.

but what happens whne he becomes venom? freakin monster. so dont fret ppl. im sure these guys know what theyre doin

It's too bad we didn't have opportunities like this to discuss the original Batman movie when Michael Keaton was cast. Most of the people on these boards either weren't even born yet or were too young to remember, but there was a huge bruhaha over his casting. Two hours after the movie premiered, nobody could imagine anyone else in the role. Proof that acting and direction can cure all preconceived ills. Now we just have to wait and see if TG & Raimi can pull it off.

maybe grace wuill make a great venom since he's a good actor but will fall short as brock since his appearance will be easier to see

grace will most likely have cgi enhancements when he's venom

I don't know the exact date, but it's definitely in May. But I just read that he filmed the scenes Feb. 17. So I don't think seeing him in that episode is going to do us any good.
