This is really a good read so far....I like Cripus allen more than ever.

Also it is intrguing to get into the Spectre's motives.

The art work is beautiful....kinda has a "Gotham Central " feel.

I got a bad feeling about what his son is about to do and what Allen will be required to do afterward.....

I'm enjoying it. It's rare to see such a quick story these days, but I like it. It's got a nice, brisk pace. I'm also looking forward to what happens with Cris' son next issue. Pfeifer did a great job picking up on the themes Rucka introduced in Gotham Central and adding a mystical twist to them.

I liked him going back in time to see himself as the beat cop. Had a Charles Dickens feel with a Hitchcock twist.

He did the short-lived "Hero" series. I think his last name is Chiang.

Cliff Chiang. He's got a really nice, clean style that still manages to be kind of gloomy and noirish. I like him a lot.

This is starting to be a nice replacement for Gotham Central.

replacement? It's only a three issue mini. Just a tease really....the bastards :(

I think everything Will Pfeifer does is pure gold*.

*With exception of Blood of the Demon.

Well if celldog likes it, that means somethings wrong with it.

I'm loving the art, and the story. I didn't really understand what the hell was going on in the first issue, but after reading the second, then reading the first again, a lot more of it made sense.

Too bad it's only a 3/3 Mini =(

I agree. He's kind of a cross between Phil Hester and Michael Lark. Maybe it's the similarity to Hester, but I'd love to see him on Green Arrow.

This was still the best era for the grim ghost...

I'm reading it, it's an excellent mini.

I love how the Spectre keeps growing giant all the time, in various sizes, and doing other very otherworldy stuff. I love how they depict that in each panel. Its great.

Really underrated. I wish more people were picking it up.
Nice to see Cris Allen getting to do stuff, even if he is dead. :(

Im reading this. I think it is quiet good. I hope it follows this trend.

I wonder if the Spectre is gonna make an apperance in JSofA?
