Well, I've been having issues for a week with Google chrome in general, so I removed it and switched to Firefox, and I seem to be doing better.

Glad to hear it's not just me. I've been having this issue for like a week (Firefox user here). Really annoying, but I find it doesn't happen when I'm using my phone. Weird.

It's probably due to SHH incorporating a new ad or something; and even if we have ad-blocker, it would still affect the performance of the site itself.

I just did it now, installed the Ad Block Plus on Firefox and am using that to view this site now.

These ads are pretty useless when they become so intrusive that people have to install extra blocking to deal with them. It doesn't exactly make me want to buy into what is being sold to me when it's effecting my browsing experience.

If this isn't fixed by July, I'm not wasting my time trying to even refresh anymore. I think a lot of people will have that sentiment.

TDKR hype is gonna hit SHH with 1000000x the amount of traffic we're getting today. (What IS happening today anyway? Right, nothing. ) If we can't even get in to talk about it or get news, we'll just get it somewhere else.

Well, the most "official-unoffical" news I have is that the Mod's don't even know what's going on, and they're just as frustrated. Would have been nice if they'd taken the time to tell us that much since the threads been here for a while.

I'd at least like to know if it's being worked on. Don't we have a specific Admin, not tied to these forums, who is supposed to be in charge of this? Is he working on it? Is anyone?

That's all I really want to know. I want assurances dang it!
