That was the start of your problems right there. You don't "sip" Vodka. It's not baby formula.I had three sips of vodka last night just to see if it tasted like rubbing alcohol like I thought it would (it really does, btw). It did and the mild feelings I experienced from it make me thoroughly glad I don't drink.![]()
I agree. I mean don't get me wrong. I don't get tanked like I used to, or as frequently as I used to. I have a regular, stable job now and I'm moving into a better place soon so I don't wish to jeopardize my life with a drunk driving charge -- and moreover I can't be seen acting like a moron by my peers anymore. That said, getting f---ed up on the rare occasions I can get away with it, is fun as hell.Drinking is almost always a part of hanging out with my friends. We're not alcoholics or anything we just enjoy getting together at a bar or something and having a few drinks on the weekend. It's more about the social aspect than the drinking aspect. We'll usually end the night fairly drunk, but we also all live in the city so we take cabs home instead of driving. I don't think there's anything wrong with drinking and if someone doesn't want to drink that's cool to.
I do think a lot of people on this board are showing they're inexperience and "parental" pressure when they say they never have, never will drink. I really believe you can't vilify something if you haven't tried it. I never drank till I went to college, but never found anything wrong with drinking, it's just another form of hanging out with your friends and if everyone knows their limits and is of the same mindset, it can be a fun way to spend a night. Not saying I or anyone needs to drink to have fun, but also don't knock it, 'till you've tried it and not just a single drink in a night, go crazy one night, get blitzed, have a friend there to keep an eye on you, but just see it from the other side of the wall one time.
Do you have autism? That was the start of your problems right there. You don't "sip" Vodka. It's not baby formula.
No, do you? Because only autistic people would sip Vodka.Do you have autism?
I know. I'm surprised CConn didn't throw that sh-- right back up. The only place straight Vodka should be is in a shot glass, and you shouldn't be smelling it, sipping it, or tasting it. You just go vertical to vertical.Meh, you can sip good tequila or whisky/whiskey. Vodka by itself, though....I dunno....
Vodka is my girlfriend's favorite. She never sips it, though.I know. I'm surprised CConn didn't throw that sh-- right back up. The only place straight Vodka should be is in a shot glass, and you shouldn't be smelling it, sipping it, or tasting it. You just go vertical to vertical.
Jack Daniel's and Vodka were my favorites in college too. I used to do straight shots of Everclear on rare occasions. It was more or less my "party trick", although it's not really much of a trick. You just take it like a champ.Vodka is my girlfriend's favorite. She never sips it, though.
Sigh, I didn't sip it. I drank about a quarter of a glass. Enough to get a taste of it, but certainly not enough of it to get at all inebriated. No, do you? Because only autistic people would sip Vodka.
....er, nevermind.Sigh, I didn't sip it. I drank about a quarter of a glass. Enough to get a taste of it, but certainly not enough of it to get at all inebriated.
You've known me for 3 years, you should know I make everything sound as effeminate as possible.
Haha. BeautifulI've chugged Jack D. before. I mean chugged. That was my "party trick," lol. I stopped after about the 7th time because I was able to draw a correlation between the number of times I did that and the number of times I had to clean up the bathroom in the morning.
. I did chug JD, apparently...I say "apparently" because I sure as hell don't remember anything besides a girl saying "chug it!". The Everclear thing never put my under, but I'd only do it once. I'd arrange five shot glasses, one with everclear, the rest with water. Everytime it went the same. I'd go "water, water, water, water, ev..." When I took the shot of everclear I used to have to grip the table and punch it with my other hand (after dropping the shot glass) because it burns so bad going down. It was fun though.Obviously, I'm at that age (the age being anywhere from 15-80) where drinking is considered pretty damn awesome, and looked at as being something you should do whenever humanly possible.
That aside, I've never been able to get into it. To me, seeing people drunk is like watching someone inseminate a cow; sure, it's a noble effort, but I could never see getting any enjoyment out of it.
It's not like I'm against drinking, or afraid of it, or have some phobia against it...I just don't particularly see the point of it, and thusly have never gotten into it.Anyone else feel the same way?
t: Mmm...straight Tattoo...that stuff made Fantastic Four entertaining, once.As much as I drink I could never have vodka straight, I don't even do straight shots. I usually mix it with a soda or orange juice. In fact the only thing I can drink straight is usually Southern Comfort or Captain Morgan Tattoo

Tomorrow is my last day at work, then it's goodbye job security, hello unemployment. So I'm gonna get f**ked up.
Not laughing at your situation but the wording of it and your avvy just made me crack up!
