Anyone here getting pressured fromthier parents to get married or get a girlfriend?

My parents ask me when im going to get a girlfriend all the time. It gets annoying but it goes to the whole fear of "OMG my son might be gay!" mentality thing in most hispanic families.

Irony is, the parents are telling their sons to go out and chase some skirt, whereas they tell their daughters to be careful and veto every guy they are even vaguely interested in.

I think in general, parents become concerned about their children having bfs/gfs getting married if:

A) It's been a while since they dated anyone, or never dated anyone at all
B) Have been with the same girl/boy for a while.

My mom wouldn't care if any of us 3 never got married (and if she ever spoke to us about it, she'd probably be selling the tax benefits). She'd only care if we had kids before she went through menopause. My mom is a loon about some things.

My aunt though, she never pushed me into having a girlfriend, but every once in a while, she'd suggest that i bring my ex-girl/now friend to have dinner at her house. this stopped a few weeks ago when i told her i was gay. funny thing, like my mother, she kinda thought so.
