Yeah, I remember that movie. HBO used to show the hell out of it for some reason. Every other day, the guide would have Cherry 2000.

Cherry 2000 was awesome. I remember that movie for it's huge sweeping backgrounds. Shot out in the desert I think it was, then there was a scene with a car in a giant drain pipe I think it was. I'm sketchy on my memory on it but it was cool.

As a kid, thought it was great also.
The OST by Basil Poledouris is really good for this sort of movie.
