It is, although, it's a damn good job. The car pic is lifted from the website linked in the second post. The manip of the car popped up about a week ago over at AICN and was quickly debunked.

For what it's worth......does ANYONE actually think they'd even go with the Trans Am?? I mean....the Trans Am was cool back in the day.....but if they ever make a new film, let's face it.....the Trans Am would have to be out. I mean, even the final piece to the Knight Rider story had the Trans Am get scractched out.

The only question would be.....what car to use?

ye GODS I don't know which is worse... the thought that they are trying to do that show as a movie or the thought that THE PEANUT above is going to be the car they use for KITT. It has NO STYLE to it.

This is getting into the hall of legendary "will this project ever get out of development hell" movies... I dunno about the car picked, could use something with a little more muscle... But for a fake poster it´s cool.

In the film, based on the 1982 series of the same name, a lone crime fighter battles the forces of evil with the help of his indestructible and artificially intelligent car.


Glen A. Larson is writing the script for the film which will be produced via the Weinstein Company for a 2008 release.
