Age of Ultron AoU Post-credits scene discussion (*SPOILERS*)

My guess is that the TR and GOTG2 mid-credit scenes would be Thanos laying waste to Asgard and Xandar to get their stones.

I doubt the the annihilation of Asgard will be relegated to a mid credits scene. Those mid credit scenes aren't even that long.

Uh, isn't Asgard going to be annihilated in Ragnarok? No need for Thanos.

No because there are no stones in it.

Yeah, I can imagine him wading in after the film ends to pick up the stones. Equally I can see him being a precursor to Ragnarok. He calls Loki out and grabs the tesseract, which when Thor discovers it, causes Thanos to unleash Surtur on Asgard.

The latter idea sounds the best for me. Feige has said repeatedly that Ragnarok is the most important movie to setting the table for Phase III, just like Winter Soldier was for Phase II. We all know that Thanos is the end game for Phase III and all of Mega-Phase I, so I'm almost positive that Thanos has a supporting role in the film.

Even if he's supporting off-screen, his hand is going to be felt in Raganarok. They need to show him as a credible threat. At the moment, he's a lazy guy with a nice glove

We already know that he's going to come down himself to finish the job. What a wasted opportunity to showcase Dr. Strange, Spider-Man or even Black Panther...

Is the yellow stone on Vision's face an Infinity Stone?

I'm probably the one person on the planet who had no interest in a Spider-Man post credit.

Vision [BLACKOUT]has the mind stone in his forehead. They get it from Loki's staff[/BLACKOUT]

Me to. We've seen Spidey 5 times now on the big screen, I have no interest in seeing an Avengers teaser dedicated to seeing the same concept we've seen before in a slightly modified costume to fit the MCU.

Seeing how massive Thanos actually is, and him putting on the glove, however, is much more interesting in the grand scheme of things. There's plenty of time to see how Strange and Panther look with Civil War coming next year.

Well, that makes it fit better. Thanos stands at the ruins of Asgard and retrieves the stone from the wreckage of the Bifrost.

In Thor 1 the tesseract is in the vault and the rainbow bridge is working

The tag felt like an afterthought for this one. A "well, people are expecting something, lets just knock one out..." kind of thing.

I don't think that's the same Gauntlet

I still think Loki gave The Gauntlet to him, but the logical explanation to your statement:

Does that mean that...

Thanos is going to kill Vision? :csad:

GUYS?!! Does anyone has the same opinion?
Thanos is beyond all things that have happened in the movie....when they used the scepter to create interface between tonys program and the artificial inteligence, they used the blue thing (around the mind stone), which I believe was Thanos' job....many times Kevin Feige said that Thanos is a puppeteer behind the events...It is all Thanos' plan of destruction of Earth

So it's the same thing as the SDCC footage but without the stones?
No, it's not the same footage. And that video was not shown at SDCC, it was shown at the El Capitan Theater when Marvel announced Phase 3.
