Age of Ultron AoU Post-credits scene discussion (*SPOILERS*)

I thought it was a bit lame bc it was super predictable

It was quick yet effective. It told the audience exactly they needed to know, and the crowd that I was wife liked it.

Ditto. It would have been pointless. Honestly the reason for it them to use Thanos is, well because it makes the most sense. I'm surprised that some people don't get that.

During the conversation with Cap, Thor, and Tony at the end of the movie, Thor or Tony (I forget which one) says that someone's been orchestrating events, like a chess game or something like that. So Thano's was behind Loki's plan (obviously) but it also seems he somehow knew before hand that Ultron would try to destroy earth as well.
Well Thanos gave the Mind Stone to Loki so he may have understood how it worked. Maybe Ultron was a back-up plan in case Loki failed, which is why Thanos finally appeared to be ticked off after AoU - both the Mind Stone and the Space Stone were lost, and the GOTG had taken the Power Stone

Way too short, bad/no transition from the credits (A1 was great with the arc reactor turning into the moon), and overall kind of meh.

people dont care for it bc it was predictable. The last film ended with a post credit scene of Thanos. We already got the character in GotG, so the novelty of him appearing in this capacity has lost its appeal. They could have had that be the final scene of the film and done something different for the post credit scene

Yeah but he's going to do it himself

:woot:

If this would have been a post-credits scene, with a more substantive mid-credits scene included, I think it would have gone over a lot better than it did.
