[Purple Man]

A two issue prequel in Cable/Deadpool and four issues of the main story in Uncanny.

I'm still doubting that there is going to be any mention of the story in say New Avengers.

Spider-Man: "How dare he do that!"

Captain America: "It doesn't matter, the X-Men will handle the near immortal megalomaniac with a doomsday agenda in about eight pages and a splash. Then we can totally forget about it like that one time Dr.Doom used the Purple Man to control the world."

Spider-Man: "Dr.Doom did what?"

Captain America: "I don't remember."

The Sentry: "And I thought my memory was screwed up."
