Arcades.

Oh yeah, and there's this other kickass game where I found out just how accurate I was with a weapon. It's like, this clunky six shooter, and you have to holster it in the machine. Then you pick it up, the timer starts and these cups come up, and you shoot the cups. But they only shatter if you hit the bullseye.

Down at Niagra Falls I got the fastest time.

I loved how Wendigo would jump out ans say his own name.

"WEN-digo!!!"

probably could've bought 2 or 3 of those machines with the quarters I spent on 'em.
Yes the game did rock...I was always Cyclops of course...however I cannot believe no one else remembered that Spider-Man game I posted.

Yeah, that was a good one, it's just that the only place that had that one was a dank, depressing pizza/pool place where homeless goth teens with severe B.O. would hang out all day. It was right next to our town's only junkie park and right on the line where Cholos started to rule the streets.

Bad associations.

Yep. Used to have two nearby, both closed. Still go to Dave and Busters sometimes, though.
Dave and Busters is a fun place to go to. Thars an Acade center at one of the Mall's I go to it has sucky game's(well all but Area 51, it's the best one thare)

Arcades are fun but just too damn costly. Just spending a few hours at a places like Dave and Busters can easily set you back $50 or $60.

my dad and I did like 150$ in an hour, but ya thay are costly.

I remember going to arcades alot. I remember people would gather around the mortal kombat arcades and just watch people play it alll day. It was crazy; i mean you would ehar the oohs and aahs when people did those fatalitys.

There are three places(that I know off) where arcades are still really active.. Big cities in the US, Mexico and Japan

You americans are getting lazy to the point that you don't come out of your houses(kids)... the suburbs kill the arcades:down

And the best Fighting arcade ever

I'm a bigger fan of the Soul Calibur myself.
Soul Calibur = 3 games

KOF = 9 games... all of them classics to the arcade community

I like arcades. Love them more than the home consoles. However, it seems like the arcade is going the way of the dinosauer.

Play station ended the arcade life sad sad

The only good thing at arcades is DDR and some of those sniper games and whatnot. It's hard to believe they are going away since now more than ever they offer interactive games you can't really play at home too easily, where's before they just had fighters and racers you can get at home.

And they are infested with little kids :(

We own an arcade here, the key to being successful is having other stuff then just an arcade....like we have these life-size bowling lanes...it gets people in to the door. Most people wont come just to play games.

I still love the racing games, where 2 ot 4 people can all race together.

Were you telling me they are both series? Because that I know. I assume you were saying KOF is better.

KOF is good too. I just like the Soul Calibur games more.

Didn't really like arcades. If Online Gaming can get the lag problem fixed, it'll be a buitiful thing.

Ahhhh, memories. Know where the last place I saw that was? An airport in Hawaii. If I had time, I so would have played it.

There is only one arcade game I care to play...

daytonaarcade.p.jpg

11 years old.
1 car to choose.
3 tracks.

And its still going strong

When I see 'Galaga' in an arcade, I just have to play it. That game rules. Maybe one day when I am financial well off, I'll open an arcade.

Why would you want kids infesting your machines with their disgusting greasy hands and germy quarters? Just open yer own private arcade.
