Archangels. I wikipediaed it, and there are three archangels in Christianity. Gabriel is one, the name of our antagonist. Another is Michael. Micah sure sounds similar to it. There is one more, and his name was/is Uriel. So far, both archangels have had the ability to understand how things work, put them together, etc. etc. Gabriel has used his powers for evil, which is understandable as Gabriel is often mistaken as the Angel of Death (which is actually azrael.) Micah hasn't taken a stand yet, it seems, or done much with his powers.
Archangel Gabriel = Gabriel Sylar
Archangel Michael = Micah
Now here's the kicker. The archangel Uriel.
Uriel is often identified as a cherub and angel of repentance[1]. He "stands at the Gate of Eden with a fiery sword," [2] or as the angel who "watches over thunder and terror"[3]. In the Apocalypse of Peter he appears as the Angel of Repentance, who is graphically represented as being as pitiless as any demon. In the Life of Adam and Eve Uriel is regarded as the spirit (i.e., one of the cherubs) of the third chapter of Genesis. He is also identified as one of the angels who helped bury Adam and Abel in Paradise.
One of the definitions of Cherub is a beautiful or innocent person, esp. a child.
Might be something to look out for. Perhaps a character who's name shall start with the letter U.
