With the high school musical films and the kid-centered Disney/Nick shows, you would think that something would be in place by now. Josie & crew should be a live TV show- they already tried a movie, didn’t work out; they could be a female Jonas Brothers. Also, Archie & Friends could be a live TV show or it could be a movie, my preference is a TV show, they can get a greater volume of output, especially as the real-life actors age; I have a dim memory of a Betty & Veronica film that was supposedly set up at Miramax some years back.. I guess that option expired.
The producers should look for talented unknowns who look like the characters..

...the Saved by the Bell show kind of riffed on the Archie legacy..

Archie and Friends should be a live action TV show, and still have Sabrina the Teenage Witch in it, to add some sort of variety.
