Here is a question and hopefully some of you will be able to help me out:

I am currently applying for a PGCE to be an English teacher. One of the requirements is to ask an academic who taught me during my degree if he/she would provide a reference (Should the University want one).

I chose the teacher who I had the most interaction with and did my disseratation with, as it seemed the logical choice. I sent her a polite email but she has yet to get back to me.

That was 3 days ago. How would you follow through?

Send another email? Phone her office? Phone the University in general?

It all seems a tad invasive and I don't want to bother her. But time is of the essence here.

I totally hate this little transaction I have on EBay right now. This guy (who claims to be a newbie) just bought my Wii U & paid for it. I issued him a partial refund because of a small problem with one of the contollers has & he claims he doesn't see or anything because he barely signed up with Paypal today. I just told the guy how'd he wire the money to account if he didn't have one already? Also the fact that you can't make purchases on EBay without one. (you can make purchases, but you'd have to make an arrangement with seller beforehand)


I hate hassles & potential swindlers on with things like this.
