I like his art most of the time, though I don't think it's suited for many of the books he draws.

He's too old to carry big guns. The guy is a senior citzen with barely any powers. Carrying anything bigger would be too heavy and risk him hurting his back. His arthritis cant handle the pressure

what is the level of his power now? is he still a powerful telepath/teke? is he still worrying about the TO virus? i was reading the late 90s books and they kept saying how powerful he was but i havent seen much of his ability lately.

I remember his powers were working at 100% capacity for a while, but he re-infected himself with the TO virus because he's too much of a ***** to let himself walk around with that much power. So now he barely has any powers at all.

It happened in the Cable & Deadpool comic. I don't know what happened immediately before that book started in Cable's life, but he was super-powerful when that comic started. Scanning minds with ease, taking buildings apart with his TK. He had a flying island that everyone thought was running on some sort of silent engine, but it turned out it was being suspended in air with his TK at all times as an afterthought.

Long story short, Cable infected himself with the virus again on purpose so that his powers would burn out and he wouldn't be that powerful again.

Cable still has powers but they are hardly worth mentioning. He managed a small TK push around Cable 16ish but thats about it.

I wonder who this team of X-men is that goes after Magik. Could it be the Rogue, Nightcrawler, X-23, Archangel, Colossus, Wolverine & Psylocke, we saw on a cover before?
