A part of it is the aspect ratio he used. I guess he chose the one for The Avengers because it's easier to film with when it comes to action sequences and overall blocking.
I have no idea what to call the Terminator movie. It's somewhere between all the re-boot/make and sequel/prequel terms.
This just feels like a Nick Stahl as John Connor level mistake, I'm sorta baffled.
The 98 version soured us so much we overlook a new attempt.
Terminator started as a sequel, not a reboot. And we're still not sure what it is at this point. A lot of the people against the idea of this being remade were against the idea of another sequel too, especially with Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising the terminator role. It's interesting to me that the nerdosphere is up in arms over Robocop and Terminator getting rebooted, but is excited about Godzilla being rebooted.
I saw the original Godzilla at a Japanese Film Festival in 2011 or so. It's still a great movie. It also doesn't "need" a reboot.
I think it's pronounced "Jay" but I always have to correct myself from thinking of it as "J-eye".Jai Courtney is a name? Since when?

It's really going to have to take a lot to get me behind this project again, after this casting news I had a horrible sinking feeling, the same feeling I had when I watched TS and had to see the horrible Worthington (which Courntney looks very similar to) attempt to carry his way through a Terminator film, and failing miserably at doing so.
