It doesn't look too bad. Johnny Knoxville will give it the comedy aspect.

The car the used in the film is a Chevrolet Corvette C6 ZR1 (for anyone wanting to know)

If I see a few good reviews for this movie, I am likely going to see it. I get a kick out of Luiz Guzman; the Conan sword was just icing on the cake.

So basically, Arnold's version of Walking Tall?

Does anyone think this actually looks good?

I think it looks like a cool old school action flick. So yeah, as a film that knows what it trying to do,I thinks it looks good.

It's trying to be a cool old school action flick, but it does not seem like it will accomplish that goal. Arnold looks more wooden that he's ever appeared as an actor and the plot seems borderline fantastical.

Looking at the billboards, I wonder if they got some inspiration from the Grand Theft Auto imagery?

Saw the trailer before Django, was one of the worst I've seen in recent memory.

Did anyone see the Red Band trailer?

"You f***ed up my car." - bad guy

"You f***ed up my day off." - Arnold

:awesome:

The Red Band trailer is awesome. The film has a warped sense of humour which hasn't really shone through the green band ones.

Yeah, tonally it's very much like the American cousin of 'The good, the bad, the weird'.

Oh man, this looks amazing.
Arnold is BACK, baby!

The classic action hero film is BACK!!

It really does feel like something he would have done back in the 80s. Just playing a random apparently American guy with a blatant Austrian accent. It's a little more tongue in cheek, but that is to be expected.

A little OT but i find it a little weird/interesting how Christoph waltz seems to have a lighter austrian accent than arnold who's been living in the states for some 40 years now?

What I hear is that he wanted to keep his accent and for years he has a teacher to help him keep it.

He's not trying to lose it. It's his bread and butter.

Literally cannot wait to see this now, seeing the TV spots and not being able to go see the movie is killing me. Thought some reviews might have been up by now?
