if Robert Rodriguez makes another Predator film, it would be pretty cool to incorporate Arnold in some way

i was waiting for him to pop out near the end of film when Royce and chick are making their way off the island. imagine just Arnold coming out of nowhere piloting a helicopter and yelling to them - "GET TO DAAAAAA CHOPAAAAAAA!"

"[The studio] said, 'Let's do some other ones. What other story ideas do you have?'" says the filmmaker. "Because it was like, let's test out the market with this one. They really wanted it to be pretty contained, pretty scaled-back. They didn't want to put too many of the ideas into it that we could save for a second one. So we could see what the appetite was, because the bigger movie would actually be what comes following that. That kind of sets up a new storyline, new location and world, and then you can really go crazy from there."

Rodriguez says he has "an idea" of what he will do with the sequel. The next step, he says, is probably to have other writers come in and pitch different versions of his basic premise, along with new concepts. And then, as with the first Predators, he'll pick the best one. As for whether or not he would direct the sequel…

So did I, it was a POS bar Stephen Lang's villain character. Arnie racking up a decent kill count of smurfs before going down in the blaze of hardcore glory would make it worthwhile though.

Yup, because Arnold would play a real role (except for a short cameo) in stuff like The Expendables II, Riddick and Fast & The Furious. Just imagine his comeback role being is being a part of a Stallone franchise.

You probably do not understand the mindset of a guy like him. He wants the top-billing or he just won't participate.

Do you really think he'll come back and take a supporting role? A cameo is something completely different.

If Arnold returns to the movie business it will probably go like this: The comeback movie will be BIG but his movies after that will rapidly decline to "The 6th Day" and "Collateral Damage" box-office levels.

I don't see anyone having a problem giving Schwarzenegger top billing for The Expendables 2.

He was getting top billing on the TV spots of the first one.

He might be doing some sequels to some of his movies.A Commando sequel would work if Allyssa Milano returned as his daughter.

Possible sequels; True Lies 2 and Kindergarden Cop 2
He might even stay away from action movies due to his age.

You would be hard pressed to find a bigger Arnold fan than me, but I'm not sure how I feel about this. I think his time in front of the camera has passed.

I agree with you in that despite the current nostalgia for the Great Man we can't forget that from JUNIOR onwards audiences were starting to gradually lose their enthusiasm for him with each picture. Besides whilst Stallone has still maintained his physique thus allowing him to still be a credible action lead Arnie's has dropped off considerably and for some reason I can't quite see him bulking up again.
