Comedy Arrested Development - Part 1

This is actually my favorite season of the show! Love both George Senior and GOB episodes.

''Oh god, this feels right'' - George Sr after putting on a red wig.

Did we see this element go anywhere? I was assuming we'd be seeing george in this new persona?

Anyways I just finished the season (deliberately took my time) and i overall really enjoyed it. It had all that AD humor we loved in it and then some.

The whole time frame was a bit confusing at times it was hard to tell at which time jump we were at at some points?

What were your impressions of the ending? Compared to their original "series finale" they left a lot of things hanging, do you think that was to edge their bets for the movie to happen?

Netflix has said they'd love to do another season if the cast is up to it, I have to imagine it's secretly already been agreed apon that there will be another season since they seemed to of left so much purposely open at the end.

The way things have been left off it's apparently been set-up that the next season/movie will essentially be a murder mystery with each of the bluths essentially having a motive to have been the one to knock off [BLACKOUT]lucille 2[/BLACKOUT].

It vaguely reminds me of one of the old simpsons Halloween specials i think?

George Michael, you liar.

From Pier Pressure (season 1 episode 10):
BUSTER: So I thought maybe you could help me get some weed. It's not for me, it's for my girlfriend, Lucille 2.
GM: She's your girlfriend? Dad said you were her nurse!

Oh well, it was still a pretty funny moment.

So (assuming we'll get a movie/season 5) who do you guys think will be in trouble with the law next? Pretty obvious why they'll be in trouble, but I love how almost everyone was set up. [BLACKOUT]George Micheal and GOB[/BLACKOUT] were the only family members not at Cinco, right?

I kind of hope it's Micheal. I probably don't need to spoiler tag the reasons why, but I will anyways.
The narrator said he did something terrible the first time we see him run into GOB post gay sex (we found out later that something terrible wasn't ****ing himself). He had a forget-me-now, and there's plenty of humor in him not knowing whether he did it. He owed her enough money for the real culprit to easily pin it on him.

I really hope we'll find out it was either [BLACKOUT]Sally Sitwell or Lucille2 faking her death[/BLACKOUT]

just started season 4 after having my first marathon of the past seasons. Not really impressed with how they are separating the character arcs.

Both GOB and GM were at Cinco. Everyone were there.

I'm still working my way through it...I got through previous seasons really fast...but this one I find I sort of have to force myself to watch...

When the cops came to question him about Lucille 2 (i think it was about Lucille 2), he had gone the whole nine yards to dress up like a woman.

I hope we get to see fifth season. Loved this one.

Really? I'll have to watch their episodes again, because I'm drawing a blank. I thought GOB was getting some not so hetero loving while it was going on, but I probably just blanked out whenever GM was doing his boring stuff there lol

The character episodes are a tad bit arduous but it's still all totally worth it. I'm loving how everything is like a big puzzle fitting together throughout the episodes. But god damn this first Tobias episode is just genius.

On the Lucille episode. Loved the Gene Parmesean bit. This season does feel weird but it's still just so damn awesome. The Entourage bit in the Gob episode had me dying and then the club they rolled up to was called "With Jeremy Piven" hahaha I am loving this season. The little computer sound effects keep messing with me but always make me crack a smile. This is just great. Hope the last 5 eps are as great as the rest has been.

Actually it was Jeremy Piven's club "and"

"George Maharis Arrested in Men's Room", Gay Scene, December 1974: "Famous Hollywood actor George Maharis was arrested November 21 and charged with committing a sex act with a hairdresser in the men's room of a gas station in Los Angeles... He was booked on a sex perversion charge along with Perfecto Telles, 33, the hairdresser, and released on $500 bail, according to police."

I love how GM was tired of having a name associated with a gay bathroom sex incident and he picked that one lol...perfecto.

Which is also the name of the "cop" Maeby goes to school with.

*Captain Obvious strikes again!

Im LOVING Kristen Wiig as Lucille. Had no idea she would be in this but watching episode 3 now and glad she seems to have a recurring role this season

Probably a dumb question but do Netflix series ever make their way to DVD/Bluray or do they stay exclusive to Netflix? Id love to add this series to my S1-3 collection

None of them have been out long enough to know.
