Comedy Arrested Development - Part 1

The cast is keeping busy no doubt but they've had like 3+ years now to work out a schedule to try and get the cast together for a season.

If big stars like Matthew Mcconaghy and Woody Harelson can make the time to do a season of tv I'd think most of the original AD cast can as well.

I'd say only Tambor has a real excuse due to his other TV series commitment.

Finished Season 4 awhile back, and I didn't think it was as funny as the previous seasons. Still had its moments. My favourite character episodes were Gob and Tobias! Hope Season 5 will get made sooner than later!

Not sure if I like this idea. I understand everyone would be busy with other projects, but the format changed in Season 4 and it had mixed results.

Jason Bateman, who plays voice-of-reason Michael Bluth, indicated on Friday that the family that put the fun — and, oh, yes, dysfunction — in dysfunctional family comedy will be re-revived on Netflix.

“Look very probable I’m going to put some miles on the Stair Car this summer,” he tweeted. “Just officially signed on to more ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT today.”

I thought S4 was kind of genius, tbh. The more I watch it, the more I like it. Do I like it as much as the 1st 3 seasons? No, because I did miss all the scenes of the cast together and all that chemistry. But I still want more, regardless. I really want to see where the murder mystery introduced at the end goes.

It didn't "suck" to me, but I dont think it was just the format. The storylines weren't good or that funny to me.
Most of what I seen is complaints about the content but

Just bring the cast back together. I enjoyed S4 well enough, but man did I miss the group dynamic.

I can see that, it was the format that made it a chore. It wasn't dead, but I do wonder what's left in S4 even if you fix the format.

Though Hello Darkness My Old Friend is a bit hard to argue with.
