There were moments where I genuinely thought that Nyssa and Lyla were going to be killed. In the end I am glad that neither were. Ra's is one ruthless SOB, although I guess this episode gave an explanation for why he is so merciless and unrelenting.

I see that the writers found the only way to write more compelling was to make him evil.

I like Dinah Laurel reminding others of what they fight for and Thea making her action debut. Diggle needs a suit that resembles Green Lantern.

The wedding of Oliver and Nyssa is something I didn't see coming, but I'll take it. I wonder if a child between them will be the show's equivalent to Damian Wayne.

REALLY wish that it wasn't the crappy New 52 costume. But still, it's nice that she FINALLY gets to do something. Who's the "genius" who went through a stack of comics with Katana in it and then said, "you know what's really interesting about this character, her husband. Lets focus on him."

Possible my favorite episode this season and that's probably due to Nyssa and Laurel. I do hate that the team doesn't seem to get why they fight. Makes them look selfish. I did enjoy Laurel reminding them though.

Yes, Katana is finally here!!! I got my wish. All they have to do is bring back Huntress and we can have a Birds of Prey. I am so glad that it is the New 52 Katana.

OMG I LOVE YOU THEA

The fight scenes were even better than usual this week, especially the Oliver vs Nyssa and the opening scenes with Oliver's 'training'. They actually tricked me with the fake-out Diggle kill for a second there.

I really really hope that Thea doesn't go along to join Roy... Now that he's gone from the show, they can finally make her interesting again without all of her storyline revolving around him, so I'm not happy about that scene between them in next week's promo at all. Ugh.

Really liked all the scenes showing the friendship between Laurel & Nyssa, just hope they don't try to force it into becoming romantic like some people want.

Another good week of flashbacks. Knew it was coming, but I still felt bad for Akio at the end there.

Pretty good episode overall, and I'm actually looking forward to the next (for the most part).

At least 1609. We know the discovery of the Lazarus Pit was chronicled in a Hadith and the RL hassasins were a third party participant in the crusades so it could be much older.
