Thank goodness they didn't succumb to all this knee-jerk online hater nonsense. If she's good she's good, and if she's bad, then she's bad. But lets her in the role onscreen before judging that.

Also the description of her costume sounds interesting. I'm curious to see it visualized onscreen.

To play devil’s advocate, if the bar is low it doesn’t mean the creators should be lazy and be on par. Ideally they do more for the character and elevate what they could be in the future.

She can do better. Gal is still a huge worry for me. She did good in Alexander's sword scene, but was flat in everything else. I really hope Patty opened her chakras and she delivers there and in upcoming films. Or her performance is not too distracting, at least...

Acting wise, Amber Heard is a decent actress so I am not worried about that. Looks wise, she is stunning.

I would be more worried about Gal than Amber if I have to be worried.

Yaaasssssssssss. Loved her casting to begin with and she is a decent enough actress to do justice to Mera.

I think they'll keep it traditional and go for red. I'm blonde but when I fancy a change I go red, and as long as the shade is right it looks really natural, so I'm positive that the JL hair and makeup artists will make sure that Amber will look awesome as a redhead
